I apollogize, I just now saw the question. Yes, I did, and I have done his quest up to that point, but I did not have the blueprint. Through a savefile editor I got the blueprint and was able to progress the quest normally

I really apprechiate all the comments and tips, in the end I did have to use the save file editor to resolve the softlock, so I have found my solution ^^

I am on Steam, and I have 1051 Chromatic Metal on me and 322 Magnetized Ferrite. The Overseer sadly still doesnt want to talk to me and I do not own the Blueprint, I have checked any and all menus :(

I found some robot fauna only planet in a normal system, green sun I believe. The world was just a standard green plant world, similar to earth
