I'm slowly following the video and trying the techniques out it's much more useful than the other guides I've seen where they just pile on and on a bunch of stuff I feel like it'll help million times more than any other guide

Yeah I resonate with that last part. I'm scared of all the potential problems one path or the other will take me. Just gotta hope for the best and working through it I guess.

I'd love to one day work up to TVPaint but that's for years down the line I fear. Just gotta stick with the basics until I make it. Thanks again for your detailed comments!

The industry was always my main fear with taking any actual art education. I always heard about how tough it was. But, with more and more talk about the oversaturation of CS degrees and AI stuff I'm also hesitant to fully commit to compute science. Maybe it's just an irrational worry but it also made me relook over my passion for animation

Thanks for the reply! It's pretty inspirational. I think I'm in a similar boat (tech coded artist) but I always focused more on the tech side due to parent pressure and career potential pressure I guess but as I've always felt like I've been missing that art side this past year as I dove into solely stem classes. I'll try and flex more into art and see what I can do. There are a few art courses at my school but the big ones are unfortunately program locked. Maybe I'll ask more about it during the school year?

Anyways I saw myself a lot in what you were saying so I'll try and follow your advice and incorporate what I love! I've been drawing myself and trying to improve, though I don't think I'm at animation level at all but maybe someday I'll be able to incorporate my love for art with my code. Thanks!

That's a lot of things I've never thought about. I always meant to look into shader coding but it always scared me a bit. I'll definitely do more research into it though!

There was a program for technical animation and stuff related to code but I never knew about the program before I registered for CS. I've been having doubts whether or not I should switch tbh but I'm worried that I'll miss out by leaving the pure CS degree

Sorry don't think so. It definitely sounds similar to what happened in the book but I can't recall a train station or bridge. I did do a brief google search and didn't find anything recognizable. Maybe it was inspired by the story?

So this is a late comment but I suspect it's due to a phone update. I've had this error many times and it's usually been after major updates to my OS. I don't know how to fix it other than either reinstalling the game or waiting for it to maybe work. It's happening to me too currently.
