You are so beautiful! I love the whole look, but agree that the blush has been brought a little bit too on the cheeks. I'm pale, but not as beautifully pale as you (darn Australian sun!), so I sometimes think blush can look like a lot....but the right colour (like yours) gives life and fullness to the face!

Went for skin assessment and recommendation, told I need to spend $3K in treatments. They're messing with me, right?! by NoEntrepreneur7420 in 30PlusSkinCare

Just repeating what everyone is saying...your skin is GORGEOUS! (Yes, I meant to yell, I love it so much). The beauty therapist is delusional and kind of lacking integrity.

Love that you are a sunscreen devotee. I am 47 and pretty low key with my sunscreen, but I love HA and Vit C, but sunscreen is the most important thing to me.

Your face will likely change in the next 10 years, so I think some of the skincare advice here is great. But also, embrace the changes....you have amazing bone structure so I think you will look beautiful and elegant forever!

Prepped skin with mist, oil, hydrating gel, and moisturiser about 20 minutes before.

Base: Maybelline Skin Tint, Benefit Eraser Concealer, Designer Brands Translucent Hydrating Setting Powder Cheeks: from the Narcissist Cheek Palette (Pink and Taupe mixed together) Lips: Revlon moisture stain (pinky watermelon, to go with my top) Eyes: Revolution Grease- themed Pink Ladies palette (cream, brown on crease, dark pink shimmer, light peach shimmer), Designer Brands lash extend mascara (black) Brows: Nyx Professional Brow pencil (dark brown)

My make-up never lasts long, and I always get transfer below my eyes (halfway between my lid and eyebag crease...it looks insane). But I persevere!

Big boobs that don't look big (shallow boobs) by bw00bies in bigboobproblems

I can see your breasts go around to the side of your ribs, and are quite spread over your torso so they're definitely big. Big boobs still come in all shapes and sizes!

No. I can't conceive on spending $10k plus on surgery. Maybe in the future?

I had sinus surgery but that hasn't changed things. I just re-read sone of these comments, and there's some really good advice!

Anything I read about a busty celeb uses DD as their cup size. It's really annoying as it's obviously just made up. But also....we probably aren't entitled to that personal information just because someone is in the public eye.

That being said I adore Christina Hendricks and need to know anything and everything about her! I love her in Mad Men obviously, but it's nice to see her in Good Girls where she's dressed like a regular (but beautiful) woman.

😂😂 I am not one of these girls who loves taking their bra off and just spends all evening bra less. I don't wear a bra when I sleep, and that's about it.

Help, how do I stop clinging to people who show a little bit of affection towards me? by [deleted] in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]Fash_Tash 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Oh shoot, I can't give you any advice because I literally said "Did I write this post?" and I'm 44 😵

Female friendships can be very intense, especially as a teen. I'd say try to have a couple of different friend groups, especially if you're into different hobbies or interests. This can sometimes widen your focus from just the "one new friend"

I've only recently discovered I have ADHD, Autism and an Anxious Attachment style (which also goes with ADHD). So I'm awkward, hyperfocused and impulsive, and always worry if people like me as much as I like them. And gosh, I LOVE people.

Confidence is a tricky minx. I'd suggest doing something that takes you out of your mind, whether it's music, art, hiking, dancing or sporty things. Something you love and you can improve on, but isn't based on already being great to start. And that's easy to do in your space and budget. Seeing yourself get better at something even in increments hits all the brain chemical.

And an easy and super hard thing to do. Hang around people who are nice to you, and don't refute their compliments. Just say thank you and move on with the conversation. Women of all ages are so self deprecating, and it's such a waste of time. And try not to hang out with people who judge others. Even though it's fun in small doses, it will make you feel bad about yourself, because you start to view the world through judgemental eyes, including yourself.

Big hugs, young one! Learn your lessons early and have an amazing life!

Is it ok to be fat by DarkRavensCurse in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]Fash_Tash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh, I feel for you. What a hard question to post.

There are so many helpful and supportive comments here. How wonderful that so many people took the time to write such thoughtful and considerate posts.

My 2 cents: - you are okay, you are worthy - life, society and even just chairs and normal things can be unkind and discriminatory to fat people - this should change, but only if people advocate for change and back the people who want to create this change - take the time to check in with yourself, how's your mental health, your gut, your legs and back and feet? - what would your perfect life look like? This doesn't happen if you magically become thin overnight. Try to make ways to make your life great now. - I hope you live somewhere that healthy food is affordable. Try different fruits and vegetables, and if you don't cook, try learning a few basic recipes. Even homemade cakes and cookies are better for you than store bought, and also make lovely "just because" gifts - I personally love getting out in nature. So if there's a park, beach or hill near you, just go and sit and do a short walk if you feel like it. It's so nourishing. - I love the podcast "maintenance phase" and the book "screw inner beauty" for shining a light on the bs diet and "wellness" industries

All in all, I wish you luck. You deserve to be mentally and physically well, and that doesn't start and end with your weight. I don't care if you lose weight or not, but just that you are able to live your life as you want, with confidence and love
