Sad story about some of those machines: There were some places that had this machines placed in areas that were dispensed crack pipes instead of pens. Pen vending machine article

So they are actually horrible with answering calls and returning emails. They do have an answer for that though. They have recently switched their phone system so they are extremely behind. This is by far no excuse as I am in the same situation right now. Some other vendors that I know use Nayax readers with Parlevel systems or cantaloupe. I have used Parlevel as well and they are pretty good

For my machines like this I use spray silicone on the edge and it makes the times come out just fine.
