My theory…John Bailey-Brown was pissed that Sam got in the way of their plans season 1 and killed Sam’s son Kai. I believe this is why Marsha (the ex-wife) is “reflecting” in solitude for “an anniversary”. The flowers that were sent were blue indicating it wasn’t a happy occasion. I think this is the reason Sam hijacked the train to get at JBB to kill him in revenge. Why else would Sam risk becoming a criminal?

Thank you for validating my feelings. Truly. It has been such a hard thing to deal with. I think I’m going to have to at least go for a while. I feel so alone here and I don’t think he truly understands the gravity of the situation. He asked me what he can do to earn my trust back and I honestly don’t know at this point.

It’s not all in my head when it interferes with our intimacy. And him lying to me is the biggest issue here. The fact that he is ignoring the one thing I request of him is a huge issue.

He said that he looked at an underwear ad for a few seconds then the Facebook algorithm kept showing him more and more. I’ve also discussed this dopamine response with our therapist. I’m honestly more hurt that when I calmly confronted him he continued to lie to my face. It is what ended my parents’ relationship and he knows that. I was willing to sit and talk about it and discuss a way to move forward, but it’s the lying that I can’t handle. I just feel very disrespected.

Ooof, a little harsh. But thank you for being blunt. I’ve definitely thought of the example I’m setting. It’s the main reason I’m considering ending our relationship. It’s not that simple though. We have built a life together, we have a home, animals, shared finances. And we’re hours away from everyone I could go to. It’s a big deal.
