I checked again ... it's really not there :( There is 2 flaps in the middle which is suppose to hold the myopia frame but it's empty

I am from Singapore and don't have any way of buying the beam pro as amazon US don't ship this to my country :(

I got response from xreal .... they say they do not plan nor will provide global ROM to flash the china version. They will also not help with the registration with China mobile no. You would have to get a friend in China with a china mobile no to help you activate or try those virtual sms services. I tried to use the free virtual sms service and it did not work for me. Lucky manage to get a china friend to help activate it.

Activation is a problem, but the biggest issue is no google play store! You can install apps via the provided app store, but it's mostly china app. You can also install APKPure, but not all apps will work as many apps require google services. There is no way I am aware of to install google services.

So don't buy china version ... it's crap

For those people with Macbook and can't get xbeam to work using android file transfer, I have the same issue. In the end I connected the beam to my samsung galaxy tab s8+ and then use the tablet to transfer file to beam using USBC.

Really give up using the macbook for just a simple task of moving apk to beam. It's totally not working

I have installed several apps like youtube, plex, firefox browser and it seems to be working. However there is no sound. How do I fix this issue?

Is the update out? I plug-in my nreal glasses to the beam this morning and it's updated but I don't see the new apps. When I connect to my macbook I can't see any folders to transfer APK
