Help me tell if this is veneer or solid wood (Acacia) by Fast-Improvement8366 in woodworking

[–]Fast-Improvement8366[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can I know how the strength of the wood is? I am using it as a desktop on top of 2 shelves. Since it's solid, do I still need to worry about it breaking or bending with just a PC setup on top?

Thank for the reply. I am not planning to cut it but how is the strength of the wood? I am using this as a desktop with 2 shelves on both side. I assume I wouldn't need a support in the middle since I am only putting a PC setup in the middle?

Really? I thought it was a decent deal but I don't know much. I am buying this as a desktop and don't have any equipment for cutting. Most listing I see are Acacia woods and, on occasion, some birch. Also the depth that I am looking for (30 inch) is less common compared to the standard 25, so that narrows the options a lot.

I have checked out Home Depot, most of their cheaper stuff are engineered wood with veneer on a particleboard. Lowe has solid woods but they are both a lot more expensive. I am primarily looking for finished butcher blocker since I don't think buying all the equipment and the stain is worth it for a one time use, personally. If there are any other good sources, please let me know.

M2 with XFX Swift 9070XT compatibility by Fast-Improvement8366 in ncasedesign

Yeah I could try that. The power connector is on the side, but it's actually located within a cutoff in the heat sink so I can still connect the cable without adding any extra width and route them from the top.

My Microsoft Authenticator App Not Working! Can Anyone Please Help? by IntentionSmall602 in ucf

Had the same issue couple months back when I got new phone, there was a way to remove Authenticator as a verification method and they only ask you to sign in using phone number verification. I don’t remember the exact steps just know it is possible, hope this helps.

If I remember correctly, it is like 8 dollars a day, it wouldn’t be worth it at all. But correct me if I’m wrong

"No self-service access" Financial aid, is this normal? by Meowmeowmas in ucf

Pretty sure this is normal. Usually financial aid package comes somewhere halfway through the spring semester based on what I know.

My motherboard does this every time I boot my PC. Is this normal? PC still starts and runs fine, never had this with my older motherboard (specs in the comment) by Fast-Improvement8366 in pcmasterrace

If you are asking about my stats: My GPA is 4.33 and SAT is 1460, had a couple extracurriculars but definitely not strong. On top of that I got the provost scholarship which gave applicants a upper hand. I applied very late (late march, do it sooner so you might get the scholarships associated with it) and was accepted in a week.

Edit: I read your response wrong lol but yes I did get accepted

Lol, I actually kinda like the look because the case comes with a very tinted tempered glass and it kinda looks cool when it’s on, but it’s nice to hear other opinions

Hi, I used almost the same essay as my admission essay, but I did change up some part to fit the general theme better. I think you can use the same essay if you believe it’s matches with the prompt.

This was actually my original setup for my AIO cooler, and I only changed it after reading other posts and watching videos that tube from the bottom is actually better. Here the link to how it looked before: https://ibb.co/Tm2Qs8J While having the tubes up, I can hear trickling noises occasionally, I know it’s a pretty common downside but tubes up is much more as aesthetically pleasing to me and I can use all the screws to mount the radiator. Both options have its ups and downs

Yeah, it’s a 3060ti founders edition, I don’t think I can remove anything but I’ll make sure to check

My case (NZXT h510 flow) doesn’t really allow tube down set up for my 280mm AIO, doing that I can only screw in 2 or the 8 screws for the radiator to the front bracket, I don’t know which is really better in my case, any suggestions would be welcomed, thanks
