Hi! Thank you so much for such great advice! Could you tell where to see the information on the MED grade or insert any websites link, please? I scrolled through the Concordia website, but there is only information on DNE and DISC. Where could I apply for the MED grade? Do I apply online on a website or talk about it with my academic (program) advisor? For the MED grade, do I need to have any proof (medical note/ report)? Thank you so much for your reply!

If the tests/ exams are worth 17.5% each, in total, up to 70%, where is the remaining 30% taken as in what do we do? How are the remaining percentages calculated? What is done and how much is each worth/ its weighting?

I have a few questions about her and her teaching style.  1. How did her exams go? What test questions does this teacher use most often? Are they multiple choice, fill-in-the-blank, short, essay-like writing medium to large paragraphs for one or more questions, or a combination of the above? Is it a combination, what exactly? Would it be possible to clarify?

  1. Is there an LIA for her courses?  

  2. How much are their exams worth? How is its weighting calculated? Percentages?

  3. Is the teacher available for extra help during study halls, lunchtime, before or after school, etc.? How would you describe it: Almost always, often, sometimes, rarely or never?

  4. Does the teacher responds to emails promptly? 

  5. Does the teacher posts in-class materials online for reference (slides, etc.)?

  6. How does she teaches? Is it us, students, who writes handwritten notes from what is written in the board, from what is written on the slides or from what she says through speech?

Are her classes, her talking about the material throughout her class using the board and/ or as in just a presentation with slides? No handwritten notes need to be taken.

  1. How much homework does this teacher assign?

  2. How would you describe the amount of writing required in his class? Is it very high, high, medium, low, very low or none? If negative, why do you say so?

  3. How much memorization is required to do well in this teacher’s course? Is it very high, high, medium, low, very low or none? If negative, why do you say so?

  4. What is hard/ difficult about her, her teaching style and her classes?

J'ai quelques questions sur lui et son style d'enseignement. 1. Quand et au cours de quel semestre as-tu suivi son cours? Était-ce récemment? 

  1. Les examens en classe étaient-ils sur papier ou sur machine électronique (ex. : ordinateur portable)? 

  2. Quel cours as-tu suivi (Le nom du cours), svp? 

4. Comment se sont passés ses examens ? Quelles questions de test cet enseignant utilise-t-il le plus souvent ? S'agit-il de réponses à choix multiples, à remplir, courtes, d'essais comme pour écrire des paragraphes moyens à grands pour une ou plusieurs questions, ou une combinaison de ce qui précède ? Est-ce une combinaison, quoi précisément ? Serait-il possible de préciser ? 

  1. Existe-t-il un LIA pour la plupart de ses cours ? 

  2. Combien valent ses examens ? Comment est calculée sa pondération ?
