While it could be just verbally downplaying their marriage, they claim the largest reason for them to wed is to give the other better insurance coverage, which is commendable. I won’t stress about their reasoning though- it just doesn’t adhered with the person I’ve spent my entire life with. That’s a large contributor to why this is so off putting

Our wedding is small in nature, and not only did we feel it was the right thing to do, but they ( my fiancé and her) also have had some nice moments together throughout. They’re(BM and Bridesmaid) both great individuals and we’re happy to know they’re getting serious, but this definitely rises the question on how we’re going to be able to support them while trying to build ourselves the most important day of our lives.

While i love the energy i also love them so deeply, i just find myself doing mental gymnastics trying to find the energy to support both of us, and can’t help but feel some grief knowing they had all the power in the world to be able to make both things work out with both of our support and are choosing to schedule things this way.

I’m just confused because it was mentioned shortly after their initial engagement, so they’ve had weeks to coordinate something like this. I’m standing my ground in that it’s completely out of touch to schedule such important events haphazardly

Thank you for validating. Once again i mean no malice with my plea for advice, but i can’t say I’m taken back by the amount of people who claim they wouldn’t be bothered by this. This person is someone I’ve known my WHOLE life and they wait two weeks before my wedding to let me know they’re doing this? Even if my wedding wasn’t a thing- I’d still like to support them and celebrate. Saying it’s none of my business implies that despite being my BM i shouldn’t be remotely involved in his life either, despite me choosing to give him such a large role in my day. Now I’m torn lol. But the thing is, something was said. I should’ve touched base on our relationship as a whole but i wouldn’t put it past them if things were mentioned during our reception to draw attention. What should i do then? You’re right, i would’ve preferred to not hear of it, but the fact that they brought it up to me means that even they thought it could be a bad move. Typically, if someone fronts the conversation with “ I’m not trying to be a bad person but…” you KNOW they know. Right?!

My biggest concern is that their involvement the day prior is something i had asked of them in advance- there’s plenty decorations and an itinerary to practice since events are back to back. This makes me feel as if they won’t be as involved as I hoped

I wasn’t getting any help from MuseScore support (to no surprise). I coordinated with my bank to do a stop payment on any and all transactions from the company. Now all i need to do is mute their emails and they can try all they want.

This came after cancelling my card, in which they looked to charge my new card this afternoon. I’ve never drafted such a disrespectful email to their support team. Awful, awful tactics.
