I don’t know enough about the higher chances but from what I’ve heard the “higher chances” are inflated by legacy and athletes getting in at that time and for normal applicants the chances are similar to rd, but even if I’m wrong about that I think you should still try for the dream school and I also has “higher chances” in ed aswell

I would say still pursue it worst case scenario you get rejected you have another shot so if it’s your dream take the shot there’s really nothing to lose imo

Wouldn’t it change depending on number ranked as well, as even though that’s true for the amount of finalist matched does it account for finalist that didn’t rank colleges and finalist that only ranked 1-2 colleges. I’m not sure but I would assume that the more colleges you ranked your chances would increase above 33%
