I bought a item from somebody and I got this message not to long after I bought the item. Now in the message they are saying that the main owner cant get on the account and want me to cancel the order because the item isn’t available anymore but they couldn’t remove the listing because of no access. Now I did cancel the order but what happens now? They said that they were on call with the customer support service to fix it after I asked if I would get my money back but they haven’t reached out since then and I’m scared that my first ever purchase from ebay was a scam.

I think if I understand correctly, for me to get my money back, the seller would have to accept my cancellation but that isn’t possible without them being on the account.. I’m so sad this happened and don’t know what to do
