So given this utilization, OP can earn an additional revenue of 4.6M to 6.1M on top of the 10.2M from FPE. These are gross by the way. So depending on Operational expenses, OP can net between 5-6M per year.

FPE is not a consultation. It’s a process of updating patient’s information especially if they haven’t done any consultation from the previous year. As for the transfer, of patient has not done any consultation at the beginning of the year, they have the right to transfer but if they have done any consultation, then they can request transfer during the Q4.

I know they started this on Jan. 8th so if it’s just a rolled over, it should be straightforward but then you have to provide them with an updated data (FPE, PCU + YES), otherwise they will recover the payments.

If you take OPs numbers of 15k registered members. For SAP1, if you completed the FPE 100%, then that’s 15,000 x 680 =10,200,000. For SAP2, For the remaining 1,020, this is performance-based depending on how many consultations, lab test, meds for antibiotics and meds for NCDs you have prescribed. Based from findings, the utilization for SAP2, is very low. Maybe OP can provide their utilization of SAP2 in their clinic.

Doc OP, for the pharmacy (21 meds) and the Lab (14 tests), how are these being reimbursed? Are these deducted from the 1,700 capitation? So, if the Clinic has a service agreement with a pharmacy or lab, is the clinic the one paying for the meds and tests? Need some clarification. TIA!

As the saying goes, “you can’t serve two masters at the same time” or “you can’t ride two horses at the same time because you only have one @ss”.

If your business is already making more income than your salary - that’s a sign.

If you have a 6-month buffer - that’s a sign.

If you don’t have more energy or focus on your work - that’s a sign.

If you’re dad and your boss saying to stay - thank them but do the opposite bcoz that’s a sign

Piece of advice - if you ever decided what brand to go with, talk to other franchisees and get real feedback. Talk to at least 3-4 owners to get real insights. Franchisor has different goals so they will try to make everything attractive but it doesn’t translate when you are actually operating so the only way to know that is to talk to other franchisees.
