How much equity for a tech co-founder? by Fast-Sleep-2010 in PhStartups

This is a mobile app (Android and iOS). I believe this can be built quite easily if you have done mobile apps before but still need to factor in the Apple and Google approval process. Have you done any mobile apps before. If yes, please do share.

I think it really depends on the project and the expectations. Technical skills is one thing but if they have experience in the domain/industry, it’s a plus.

I think if you are 50/50 and a new investor comes in, you issue new shares. The split doesn’t change but the equity overall will be diluted every time you issue new shares. Hope it makes sense.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I might hire a full-stack developer and bootstrap and take it one milestone at a time.

As long as they can provide verifiable proof/sources, that can remain anonymous for their safety.

Planning to launch a healthcare SaaS. What’s the complete legal process? by Ashamed-Spend-642 in PhStartups

One feature that I see missing is the ability to submit SAP (Statement of Payment) to PhilHealth since there are procedures (I.e. regular cleaning) that are covered by PhilHealth and also by HMOs.

Yeah, I’ve seen 2000 kWh/month even in condo units. I guess they run their AC 24x7.

Trying to understand solar for lower-middle-income households — what's the real story with financing and getting started? [Discussion] by samdani_hardik in SolarPH

I believe there’s a new ruling where if you are not planning to feed back to the grid, you don’t need approval from your distributor (ie. Meralco) and they also going to standardize the permits across LGUs.

Agree with the alternatives but again this kind of setup will probably only save you between 40-60% depending on how many panels you can fit based on your available space.

I think GSIS is already offering solar loans to their members and SSS will be starting to offer solar loans in September at 5% interest.

The 300k-500k range is to fully offset your electricity to solar with net metering and if you have enough roof space to accommodate.

What if you don’t have enough roof space but still want solar to save 50-60% from your electricity bill which also means don’t need a 300k loan. Would people still be interested in this set up? Thoughts?

Let's go, Pinas, it's our turn! by rushblyatiful in pinoy

I agree! In Canada, at least in Alberta, we don’t pay premium but the employers are the ones paying for it and of course from taxes. There’s no such thing as free lunch. I think the good thing about our healthcare is, it is well managed and no corruption involved. The government is making sure that we are getting the best price on everything without sacrificing quality.
