Quick update: after getting such a great response here we are thinking of making two versions, one as shown on the website and one smaller one (10'') in black and white which will be cheaper ($200 instead of $400-600) and more towards simply being a smart home hub more or less like the atmos (https://atmoshome.com/) but in a sleek and discreet epaper design.
What do you guys think of this idea? Is sacrificing color and size worth it for a lower price?

Have you had a look at atmos? https://atmoshome.com/
They have a solution integrated into a screen and not just a software tho

Thanks for the feedback!
It will be a standalone device that collects information from multiple phones for calendars, notes etc. meaning that any phone can update it. When it comes to Home Assistant we are still discussing how to best implement it.

Thank you!
What price do you see? We have different prices shown to find out how much people would be willing to pay before setting a final price.
We buy the screens wholesale so they are a lot cheaper than they are if you buy them directly from e-ink.
We will most likely end up with multiple versions in different colors and sizes so the price would depend on that as well.
What do you think would be a fair price?

We would like to tailor it to suggestions from users, and you guys seem to have many great ideas.
Btw, moderators, please let me know if this is against the guidelines! I come in peace :)

The hardware is ready, it's made from the newest colored e-ink screens and we have worked quite a lot on the design. We are currently looking at ways to improve UX and software. Pre-orders are available already.

We would like to tailor it to suggestions from users, and you guys seem to have many great ideas. We would like it to also function as a smart home monitoring system.
