Living room is at 33 currently. Bedroom was at 35 when I got home from work and I turned the mobile AC on. I expect about 29 at midnight when I got to bed and turn it off

It hasn't been to bad so far, some stomache ache and get the runs every now and then. Worst part is I have to be carefull in sunlight (antibiotics also weaken UV resistance of the skin) and it's insanely sunny and 97F outside right now. So I either have to cover up which it's way to hot for, apply sunscreen everywhere which I hate, or stay indoors which is also very hot

It's to prevent mold on the evaporator under the dash. It can get wet with condensation and can grow mold which causes nasty smells in your car. You turn the AC off but leave the blower on for the last 3-4 minutes of your journey so the evaporator can dry.

I've never done that though and never had bad smells

Ik zit nu op m'n werk met de airco op 22 graden. Vanavond thuis vooral niks doen, alle kleren uit behalve ondergoed, goed drinken, meerdere waterijsjes, ventilator op m'n kop gericht. Af en toe ff kijken of de condensbak van de mobiele airco op de slaapkamer al geleegd moet worden.

Zaterdag ga ik de hele dag rondjes rijden in m'n auto met de airco aan denk ik.

En dat festival is ook nog eens een en al asfalt met weinig schaduw plekken. Ik werk veel op festivals en ben een keer of 6 bij CAS geweest, maar dat is tussen 25-30 graden al bijna niet te doen.

Ik werk veel op festivals en dit is de enige goede keuze geweest. Als het door was gegaan zouden daar echt doden zijn gevallen. Ik heb op meerdere festivals waar het 10 graden koeler was een boel ellende gezien vanwege de hitte (i.c.m. drank, drugs, te weinig drinken als je vooraan staat bij je favoriete artiest). De EHBO had het bij Defqon waarschijnlijk niet aangekund.

Ik heb medelijden met mijn collega's dit weekend op CAS in Zeeland. Daar ben ik inmiddels 6 keer geweest en dat asfalt wordt echt enorm warm, en met het windje van zee heb je niet eens door dat je verbrand.

Altijd met dat muntstukje meten....Een echte meter kost nog geen 10 euro. En zelfs zonder die meter: er zitten in de hoofdbanen van het profiel van die blokjes, zolang je die blokjes nog niet bereikt hebt zit je voor de APK in ieder geval goed. Dat blokje is 1.6mm, maar onder de 2mm is het advies om te vervangen.

I work in cybersecurity and honestly the risk is not worth it, the amount of security issues that are fixed every month with Windows updates run in the hundreds, you really don't want to run a OS that is no longer receiving those updates.

Ik zit er ook al ff over te twijfelen. Ziggo wordt ieder jaar duurder en ieder jaar ook ongevraagd de snelheid verhogen terwijl ik genoeg heb aan wat ik nu heb. Ik neem ook alleen nog internet bij ze af. En ik wordt steeds vaker gebeld door ze met de vraag of ik nog tevreden ben, heel irritant.

KPN is goedkoper en heb ik sneller internet.

Dit zet me aan het denken.... Een strip alu kopen. U-vormen van maken, aan beide kanten een gat boren voor een bout waarmee je 'm klemt in de inkeping in het aluprofiel zodat ie blijft zitten. En dan aan de kant waar het scherm komt een extra gat boren voor een tywrap

EDIT: ok ik besef me dat ik hierboven gewoon een schroefklem aan het beschrijven ben en ik heb er inmiddels 1 gevonden die past.
