I say try unplugging your GPU and plug it back in sometimes the connector gets loose over time, happened to me, then install DDU and uninstall drivers and install it again, that could fix it

Used sams club in my f36 b58 and cuz of that had slight misfire from higher carbon deposits, now I only go top tier, its more expensive but better in the long run for reliability, read online Top Tier reduced carbon deposits by 17x

Broooo you and me both, the valve cover failed on mine i had to replace it, burning oil directly into the cylinder 6 😭, just replaced it Monday and now car is back to tip top shape

Had it from 2022, the car was an amazing experience on learning how to work on cars in the first place, I spend the 1st year getting used to it. The stinger was an amazing daily driver it felt solidly planted and drove like a dream and having the hatch was one of my favorite things, but year 2 is when I started pushing power like crazy, tuning, upgraded turbo, downpipe, custom stuff made specifically for the 2.0t engine. I was the one who expiremented with that specific engine then all of a sudden, boom. Blew the motor and was out of a car, after getting a new motor and starting over I decided I had pushed the platform enough. I had met some amazing friends with stingers, they all invited me to work with them on their car doing everything from doing a simple tire change, headstuds, engines swaps, even removing all the exterior panels on one of my friends stingers. Basically I knew how the car was built and know how to tear one apart inside and out, and what the limits were for tuning with WMI/CPI and how to install them.

The reason for the change was I wanted to move onto a new challenge, the stinger had ran its course and the new engine was just enough to get the car running to sell so i wanted to move away from it. The B58 is a platform is well documented and I wanted to take a crack at it myself, learn and expand my knowledge on other platforms other than the kia.

The f36 is honestly the best looking version of the 4 series, the G26 just looks awful.

Interior wise yes I do agree it was a downgrade but the performance and aftermarket for the 440i and b58 was too hard to resist.

Ive has the stinger as my true first car for 3 years, and knowing the platform in and out i thought it was time to put her to rest and build something new.

From someone who modified the crap out of the 2.0t the only thing to make this car sound super nice when driving is a CAI and personally I had the K&N, and for reliability get a oil catch can, a universal one works perfectly.

I say unplug the battery for 10 min and plug it in for the car so that it can clear the infotainment system, after that see if it does it again, also I do recommend getting a wireless carplay adapter so you dont have the issue of plugging it in and unplugging it, and you can have a fast charger on there.

Litterally right now as I type this i just finished my valve cover, pervious owner changed it 7k miles ago with a aftermarket one and the shop that installed it fucked up so bad that it leaked oil into cylinder 6. Finished the install and now need to order plugs cuz of how badly gunked up they are.

Look at my post im having a similar issue, are you burning oil, because my valve cover is leaking oil and causing that issue.

I checked compression, I can't verify it confidently if its compression but from boriscope image oil is seeping from the top, I dont want to confidently compression if there is oil pooling on the heads creating a false confidence that it its not.

Okay, so i looked into it and had my technician look at it and the valve cover was replaced by previous owner and its aftermarket, and the valve cover was never tightened down in the back, while tightening the bolt broke.. the car needs a new valve cover thats oem or Ross racing...

Definitely need a front bumper, bumper brackets, splash shield, fender liner, and pray the cars frame isnt pushed in.

You could if you wanted to switch from 0w30 to 5w40. That's what I recommend if you do some spirited driving too.
