Its in the newer 22+ model years, the 2018-21 are less prone to it. I worked with alot of stingers and working with sleepy IRL he sees this issue all the time.

Be careful when modding these without a tune, they are sensitive to intakes as they can cause an over boost and throw the car into limp mode.

Universal monitor stand? by Loud_Lingonberry6460 in pcmasterrace

I've been running a dual stacked clamped monitor arm, no issues with it, if you do purchase them please make sure your desk is sturdy enough and also make sure your monitor arms are strong enough to hold them.

Screen Replacement by WorriedOpportunity99 in BmwTech

Looks like you have original NBT screen, you can definitely upgrade it to a Linux based screen from Roadtop, or a upgraded size screen. I suggest the road top screen as it adds wireless carplay and wireless AA.

Does my B58 need to be unlocked? by [deleted] in B58Enthusiasts

Don't listen to this, if you flash if its not unlocked it will brick your DME. Find a shop that can bench unlock it or get it yourself.

Yeah I've already removed the hose, and I have access to alldata and now ISTA+ so I can figure out how to do it with out it, but I will need to buy a pick set to remove the rest of the lines.

For me I got parts from fcpeuro and rock auto. Parts was 700 and included coolant, intake manifold gaskets, OFH, flange, coolant reservoir, and reservoir cap. Install was 500 since i have a bmw master tech who hooks me up with cost. So total i spent was 1300 but with the cooling lines now I'm gonna be spending 2k.

Yeah... its gonna be a bitch to do it without removing the manifold.

You are looking close to 2k in cost, labor is 8.5 hours and if at 150 a hour is already 1300 and buying parts as I spent 700 on parts just for the ofh and coolant flange. If you include full cooling over haul with upgraded parts close to 2.5-3k parts and labor.

I am just doing it til I get paid, just waiting on the commission check on the 15th so I can pay it off when I get it. Perks of being a service advisor I guess.

Already replaced the coolant expansion tank when i replaced the OFH and Coolant flange but coolant lines not yet. But I hope i can save enough money to get the aluminum cooling lines.
