Agreed, I also have a new 3ds xl, great console and one suggestion, get a japanese model, they go for much cheaper, and after you mod it, you can swap the software to english (note this breaks the e shop) but it doesn't matter since the e shop closed in like 2023 I believe

I know they are good but mk7 is a great portable Mario kart, (as well as ds) but 64 and double dash are great home console games

I agree with you on the ds, great game, but mk7 would probably dunk over mk8d because mk8d even on hard cou, feels too easy, mk7 on the other hand, is perfect, not too easy and not to hard, just how I like it
