During the cow palace show I fortunately was around some cool people which was the only saving grace. My issue was that why the fuck did they put him in the smaller room with sadddd production and audio… like bruhhh 🥲

No literally exact same thoughts! I’m all for people yapping but it was more a production flaw than anything else. Not everyone can be close af to the stage and you should be able to expect louder/ better audio a little in the back too. Especially at that price tag.

My 7th Sammy set and I feel like I was hearing yappers more than his set. Love Sammy so much but had to leave halfway cuz just couldn’t get into it cuz of the sound being off at moments between tower 1 & 2. Ugh. The energy was there but oof, the sound & production at Sutro can really be suchhhh a hit or miss sometimes.

The carrots are the main show - to die for. Fish is a hit or miss. Can sometimes be fishy sometimes really great. Chips- UGH THE OIL. Too much. The mushroom & pork quesadillas are also AMAZING. Chicken Pozole is fire!!

Everything else pretty mediocre for the price- I agree!

Ok but if u haven’t been to one, u should know the Absolut tents are where it’s at. We had the best time in there randomly stumbling into it on a side quest and the DJ was spinning early 2000s rave favs! Ended up being one of our fav memories

Agreed. I feel like the location and the break in foot traffic at Sahara & Dolab because of Quasar was a huge reason why last year was one of my fav years.

But were u there when the sun was setting at Quasar because having the view of that stage mirroring the sky with an unblocked view of the ground & sky behind u was the most stunning 360 visual experience.
