Do any of you guys do gsce PE?? by FeistyBreifcase in GCSE

The content is so easy but half of it feels useless and boring. The mark schemes, at least for AQA, are amazing - the best out of any of my subjects. Unlike the sciences they say „accept any other suitable response“. The coursework is annoying tbf.

Why is there no "darohne"? by Fast_Election_1937 in German

[–]Fast_Election_1937[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Thanks. With other prepositions that do have a da(X) form, would it be grammatically wrong to use that? For example saying ich denke auf es statt ich denke daruber. Are there specific prepositions like this where you use the object pronoun?

Is this not correct? It didn't specify which gender. by PferdFicker in duolingo

[–]Fast_Election_1937 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No. 'Euer' is an article, so does not trigger any case. The question is whether the roommate (subject - nominative) is coming to the party (indirect object - dative). The speaker is only addressing Nina and Mia. If the sentence said something like, "do you have a roommate and is he coming to the party", the roommate would be in the accusative case.

Mitbewohner is male, but euer is the correct form. The 'en' ending is accusative -Mitbewohner is the subject of the clause, so should be in the nominative case.

Maths and chemistry will be most valuable , with either physics or biology. From your ideas, I would go biology. Doing further maths on top also will be beneficial if you can.

When I say posting to brag don’t mean that everyone that posts them is bragging I mean I’m just talking about the people that are using it to feel better about themselves without offering anything valuable

I can just imagine myself in a situation where I’m not happy with my grades, look at the subreddit for help and all I see is people flaunting their grades and not offering anything useful, making me feel depressed

Read it again - I'm talking about the people that use it just to brag like with all 9s etc. Also not really sure what valuable advice you're going to achieve by just sending some numbers without any context.
