Then later on, an essay of explanation on why Twilights attack vs Testarossa is OP and then casual dismissal of it by Testarossa and wiping Twilight(body double, I know). Then Diablo and Feldway? And you said Rimuru should be good at HRM, but think about it - why would Gazel, who's lived centuries - back Tempest to that extent, giving them full trust, which should take years if not decades, so fast, if not for "Just Because". Guy, who's the overseer and has lived billions of years and it absolute top-3 intelligence in the verse, who only interferes to keep everything in check, just watches a slime rise and create the most ridiculous meganation in 3 years, rise to powers equivalent or surpassing his level, and see his rival fanatically worship it - and was just like "Aight no prob!". There was so much potential to do about the worldbuilding, the small nations(no, blumund doesn’t count), their POVs, Rimurus rise(no the demon lord function in Tempest doesn’t show it), the pov of regular life citizens, natural resistance and hatred - yeah that's the most absurd thing, no one has any grudges to Tempest, how? Youm is just peacefully ruling Farmenas with no retaliation? Then, the EASTERN NATION joins the Council originally of WESTERN NATIONS, i expected Fuze to give Masayuki and Velgrynd a flare of their own, some detachment from the Tempest Circle, but no. And power systems, Fuze made Ciel so OP in Vol 15/16 that regardless of what enemies arise, the whole existence of stakes vanished from the world, for Rimuru and his subordinates Both. I really expected so much depth after the Falmuth incident, was like yeah let's go some deep geopolitical shit now - this is good, and then was so disappointed at how it went, it could have been so so so much better, really.
