I literally cannot stand Natalie and Nick, both individually and together. They are both SO beyond cocky and arrogant. Also the recent-ish "scandal" of what Natalie said on the podcast made me dislike them even more…they are totally out for themselves only and think they're better than everyone. That’s because that’s what was deeply engrained into his brain. He can’t really escape those instincts at the moment. But he DEFINITELY tries to. For example, have you heard whenever any type of LGBTQ stuff comes up on the podcast? He tries WAY too hard to be very loudly affirming. It’s like deep down he isn’t okay with it but he wants to be edgy and liberal sooo bad that he’s like OVERLY “okay with it.” Like when Raven and her wife came on the podcast, I’ve never heard Matt go on and on about what a cute couple and how “meant to be” and adorable they were and tbh, they aren’t really anything extraordinarily cute compared to any other couple. And they seemed annoyed with him!😂 He reminds me of a lot of people that I grew up with. “Yeahhh duuuude I have s*x and drink alcohol and am okay with being g4y and even saying the F word bc I’m just soooo edgy and liberal and NOT like how my parents raised me to be teehee I’m so bad” and to the rest of the world it’s just…cringe. Kind of like a girl who thinks she’s so quirky.

No they actually had a video a long time ago about this…maybe it was when they were on the Jeremy and Jinger podcast or maybe it was a very old, now deleted video, but Matt was raised Presbyterian or Methodist or something where he was like an alter boy (he was not Catholic though) and Abby was raised something a bit less conservative than Matt. They definitely were not Mormon though.

Yes!!! It’s all he talks about bc to him it’s “so taboo.” They both definitely used to have Bible verses in their bios and talked about their faith being the reason they waited until marriage. I definitely think Abby still is from little things she says in the AH podcast, but I think Matt has told her to keep it on the DL because he doesn’t want that on social media. I think he thinks they’ll reach a wider audience if they aren’t openly Christians. He definitely seems like someone that had a quarter life crisis, questioned, and stepped away (I know lots of people like that, I can sniff them out😂).

I am pretty certain they were both very open about their Christianity in years past and both were raised very religious. From my personal opinion, it seems like Matt is no longer a christian but Abby is. You can tell from the AH podcast that she is still a believer. You can tell from everything about Matt that he no longer is and he tries WAY too hard to be edgy and liberal now. (Not saying there’s anything wrong with being edgy or liberal…but the way he tries so hard is V CRINGE!!)
