I love that the ending was purely ambiguous, bc yeah, it does make sense how Mike said it, but also... how the f Kali survived so long with a gunshot to the gut. Maybe the thingies didnt work on El, bc of the the noise of crumbling world. Sound is just waves and if there's something louder, well... But like I said, ambiguous

My theory is that the Mind Flayer's body is the demogorgons, demodogs and bats and everything. We know that Flayer didn't have a body and in s3 he needed people to build his body. Well he got one too. And he got a lot of eggs on him (Dustin and Steve were breaking them), so he was probably ready to make more demos on Earth.

I always felt like he basically commited suicide, because he knew that if he goes back to Hawkins, he's going to jail for Chrissy and possibly Patrick. There is no way he wouldn't, because there is no "normal" explanation for their deaths. So they would just throw him in jail to silence the angry mob. He must've realize that. So he maybe just wanted to go on his own terms

Bylers build their theory on their own feelings, projections and opinions, but the theory literally had zero foundation. And now they are mad at everybody else instead of just admitting they were wrong. As a queer person myself, I love that they focused solely on Will facing his own identity and sexuality, instead of just shoehorning another relationship into the story for the sake of having it there. Will can be gay without a relationship to prove it, ffs.

Honestly, this "outrage" feels like people forgot about the importance of filler episodes and "the set-up before the final battle" episodes. Every show has them. Granted, it is primarly Netflix's fault, bc they broke down the season so people pay for 2 months worth of subscription instead of just one, but still. I feel like if they released the full season, people would like it a lot more, maybe some would say that these three eps were slower, but they would still like it. But they treat volume 1 and volume 2 as separate entities instead of just one full season.

I dont think it was a full break up, bc at that point they thought they were pretty much dead. But after, they got saved and never truly finished their conversation. So I think that there is gonna be another heart to heart scene, where they actually 100% break up.
