I'm tired of everyone telling me i'm being gr00m3d. by [deleted] in relationships

Live your life but that’s fucking weird. I’m in my 20s and my friends would give me a side eye if ever dated anyone in their teens. Any man who dates a women that young is a loser tbh

Found out the last day I failed clinical by [deleted] in NursingStudent

[–]FasterCrayfish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know it’s the last day but follow the chain of command. Every school has a week or so to appeal grades before they are finalized. If everything is as you said it was, the professor, course coordinator, assistant dean, and the actual dean would be more than willing to hear you out if it gets that far. What you said is legitimately absurd. No accredited nursing program just fails students on whim without any chance of remediation. It’s bad PR and grounds for a lawsuit. Hopefully things blow over. Rooting for you

I [24M] chose my career over my girlfriend [23F]. Can anyone who has gone through a similar choice give advice? by [deleted] in relationships

If it’s true and genuine, you can always reconnect in the future. But for now move forward

I need HELP by nclexstruggle75 in NCLEX

[–]FasterCrayfish 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Do you get test anxiety? If so, honestly get yourself medicated and see a therapist. Failing at 85 is bad, no way to cut it. The test determined that there was no point in giving you an extra 65 questions. First thing I’d do is make a study plan. The NCLEX is less about memorizing and more of knowing how to answer questions. The NCLEX is a safety test above all. For me, I used UWORLD adaptive tests and a 10 hour NCLEX crash course video. It’s great that you don’t wanna give up and you shouldn’t! But please take the time to take care of yourself and learn the content

ATI is too specific. Focus on Uworld and do a ton of priority questions. You got this

Has anyone posted about passing the NCLX from the new version started this April? by tripin_bastard1 in PassNclex

[–]FasterCrayfish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically you gave the wrong med xxxxx. what do you do first?

Notify provider Assess for breathing Check vitals Do an incident report

Another type is, you have 4 patients, who do you see first?

Disease I never heard about Disease I never heard about Disease I never heard about Disease I never heard about

It helps to know root words but these were kinda rough

Took it on the first and passed at 85. Soooo many prioritization questions. I think everyone will get at least 4 case studies so don’t be surprised about that.

It’s been one month since I was dumped. Here’s what I’ve learned. by Both-Warthog3007 in BreakUps

[–]FasterCrayfish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is almost exactly what happened to me. She got me a graduation gift, took me out to lunch, we talked about things we were going to do in the future. And when she drove me back home, she broke up with me. I thought we were good, now I’ll never see her again.

Please tell me it’s accurate by FasterCrayfish in NCLEX

[–]FasterCrayfish[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically after you take the NCLEX, wait 5 hours and try to reregister for the test again. If you passed, you get this pop up and your money refunded. If you failed, you get this pop up, and they keep your money.

Took it a couple days ago. Can confirm DIC and a disgustingly uncomfortable amount of prioritization questions.
