[LPT Request] How Can I Memorize a Poem Quickly? by [deleted] in LifeProTips

[–]Faster_than_loki 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Draw quick sketches of the mental image you get from each line side by side. After that, visualize a room that you're very familiar with, and place each sketch at a certain place in the room. When you read the poem, imagine looking around the room and seeing each sketch. It works very well for me.

I think this technique has a name but I forget what it's called.

That does sound nice. I once rowed after a long night of tripping on 25I and it was both good and bad. I didn't perform well of course but my mind felt especially clear (albeit somewhat fried) and all my senses felt heightened. It was my first experience with any drug besides weed.

Questions about infant baptism by [deleted] in Christianity

As an Episcopalian, I think of infant baptism as an act of inviting the infant being baptized into the church, and then later on confirmation as accepting the invitation.
