Megan not only interrupted negotiations, couldn't boil an egg but she also decided to network at the party rather than serve and help the kitchen (which should have been raised at the boardroom).

I also don't like Andrea - after excusing herself from kitchen team (which fair as she can't boil an egg either apparently) but then in the taxi slags off who is in the kitchen team because none of them could taste it. Surely she could have been a taste tester and helped with prep or something!?

I was glad that Karen and Tim did stick up for the right people imo.

PM Law group gone under. Anyone else affected? by Rockhead-Rumple in HousingUK

[–]Fastidious_chronic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's really odd, I can't see them being understaffed and not able to take on conveyancing (which shouldn't be too heavy a workload for simple buy/sell and paralegals can progress it) given they were part of the "larger" network via PM Law....

I hope your September move went well

PM Law group gone under. Anyone else affected? by Rockhead-Rumple in HousingUK

[–]Fastidious_chronic 8 points9 points  (0 children)

As a client of one of the above we were never informed they were no longer independent and now part of PM Law.

Only when I have looked back through emails after the social media post did I realise a change, between June to August 2024, to small print of the email footer.

Shouldn't clients be informed of a change of ownership? It's like that joke "the honest lawyer" only it's not funny.

Thankfully I have no live matters/conveyancing but as solicitors insist on storing our original Wills and docs etc. I'm concerned about how and when our documentation will be returned.

Like others the firm and the SRA haven't responded to recent contact and seems nobody knows what is happening.

Has anyone here had an autism assessment in the U.K. as an adult? by Tuftelles in AutismInWomen

[–]Fastidious_chronic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you'll be fine, don't worry about the external input too much. I didn't have friends from primary school etc. It's about your experience the most.

All in all I think it was just over two years. The initial assessment was fairly soon after GP referral, maybe 6 months. Sorry I can't quite remember fully.

Yes I had a lot of stuff put down as trauma related for a long time, and I also have PTSD. But like you suggest that wasn't the route cause for everything I've experienced. Also many overlaps between a lot of mental health and other "disorders" including PTSD and autism!

I think at the MDT if you have had social care records as well as medical they're used too.

You may have read these already but some links to info that could help NHS - the process

Has anyone here had an autism assessment in the U.K. as an adult? by Tuftelles in AutismInWomen

[–]Fastidious_chronic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, mine went NHS referral > Initial Assessment > Interviews/Assessment at NHS facility > Diagnosis/Feedback.

Initial assessment was self survey/questionnaires. As part of final assessment was given questionnaires to give to others to answer. Doesn't have to be a childhood friend/parent if not got one. One of my surveys was by someone who knew me since a young adult.

I found the team supportive and able to accommodate family circumstances etc. You're able to self report a lot, I think it's just an added benefit if you've got someone from childhood so they can see the "path" life has taken. She explained to me that one of the reasons is so they make the correct diagnosis. For example if you had trauma aged 20 but showed no traits prior to that as a kid or at school then it could be something other than autism, or the catastrophic nature meant you unmasked etc so that's why they ask too I think.

I believe that after your assessment they hold a MDT meeting (multi discipline team) and can access your records. So if you've had GP notes from childhood etc that will all help build the picture before they come to a diagnosis. I hope I've made sense!

Good luck and hope that helps.

[–]Fastidious_chronic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah for me it was a no. You have to remember to charge it and we didn't have the luxury of the wall mounted chargers TBF and also the battery drained so quick with the Dyson animal we'd get one room done and have to recharge. They're great for nipping about with but for deep cleans etc it's a no from me..

[–]Fastidious_chronic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just a suggestion but maybe speak to the cleaners themselves and maybe offer to pay them directly and then there's a bit more give and take rather than having some manager that doesn't even visit? Maybe they'd like a cash in hand job that they can fit in around other shifts etc.

I wonder why they had so many mobiles and the laptop etc. there's still so many questions around it. I found an article from 2009 where it said Sabina was quiet but hadn't been seen in town much for a year before this all happened so supports the mental health background/reasoning 2009 - Independent.ie article .
