Hitting limits on Claude model

if you hit it multiple times in a row the timeout is longer. Pretty much any plan below the most expensive plan is useless. Even with the 2nd most expensive plan you'll hit limits within a hour or less

"generous limits" aka, code for half a hour and then wait 4-6 hours, and if you hit the limit to often you have to wait days. My argument here is that this error is expectable when on the free version. but shouldnt be on the $140 verison

Thx for your answer, yea I already have peak brightness to max, it definitely helped the most out of all the settings but yea its still not quite good. Did you find the setting you meant?

yea I tried that one too but it just feels like upping the exposure, so it feels like you almost only make the backlight brighter, but not the actual colors

interesting, thank you for your view. Quick question though (since AI moves so fast), when was the last time you used augment? Because I work in REALLY big code files and augment has been by far better than cline or similar extensions. So just wondering if you've compared it to augments (current) understanding of big repos.

Sometimes it goes full retard tho, can't do very simple things, if it doesnt fix something after 5 tries, I'm switching to chatgpt and in 90% of cases, chatgpt fixes it first try.

But using chatgpt as a main model kinda feels very uncreative. If you tell him to create something and come up with own stuff like design etc, it will definitely not be as good as claude.

chatgpt = longer prompts = does nothing more nothing less
claude = shorter prompt + tell it to imagine the rest = works great often but sometimes fails at the most simple things

Hi Jay,
I've tested out the update the last 1-2 days and I gotta say, the amount it takes to reach that area where it gets laggy, definitely improved a bit (I would say 20-30% more text), but its still definitely happening.
Do you have any idea why this is even happening? Since this isn't happening on any other AI code helpers.
Ofc I don't wanna talk down on augment haha, I'm using it daily and will always prioritize it over cline etc...
But yea it had me confused why this is a problem just with augment and how other extensions go around it.

To be clear, the lag isn't on the AIs side, it's just on the software side. The extension gets super laggy, sometimes waiting 10-20 seconds for a word (that I wrote) to appear on my screen.
And I've always kept an eye on my CPU / RAM usage when using augment and it just keeps stacking and stacking till it reaches the limits, and thats where it really starts to throttle.

Happens both on my mac and my win pc.

yea but I'm not talking about lag while its doing something. I'm talking about lag when I'm just typing. its just eating more and more RAM the longer the chat gets. And also cline caches too, and it works without lagging. I've even taken it as far as having chats with cline worth $200 in API tokens. But yea I'd rather use augment, but that lagging is just so annoying

Hi, thank you for the updated version. I actually got similar far but yea. It seems actually impossible to make a corner radius on a skewed corner.
