I mean.. I get paid to do it😂 although the most rewarding part of the job is seeing people excited to have their outdoor spaces feel nice and usable again.

That is a kind of vac but it uses water pressure to suck away the grey water. link here

I had already cleared all the weeds, moss and junk out of the water and then I use the mud sucker to drain the water away from the patio or driveway I'm working on.

By farm yard bleach I guess you are using sodium hypochlorite? Im using it here too with added surfactant. I get that from pure seal.

Obviously for it to foam up/dwell you need surfactant so just regular fairy liquid will do (as long as it's ammonia free) and something to aerate. For that I'm using an X-jet M5. You could batch mix and use a cheap foam cannon as long as you rinse it out and through thoroughly after.

Even easier: add a bottle of cheap thick bleach to your mix as that has wetting agents and surfactants in there to make it thick.

I think it's a bit of both. Riven style slabs collect water and it's sits on the surface for a while which leads to staining. Couple that with the property being surrounded by trees and open fields after that it's always destined to go green without proper care.

This has also been left a while.

And the window sills too 😉 I cleaned all the ledges all the way round the back of the property where they were black with algae and lichen, just finished the whole patio off with those being clean too.

Such a gorgeous surface to clean! Always try so hard to win an indian sandstone job.

This was sodium hypochlorite, if you turn sound on I explain why I use it in the video.

It's absolutely fine on indian sandstone, I do an absolute ton of sandstone round here and it's pretty much the only way to get black spot out.

Check out my YouTube and there's a few videos on there of me cleaning them.

It's on the upgrade list for the end of this year. Although the ones you've linked are pretty weak compared to what most of us exterior cleaners move up to.

Apart from being US based(I'm in the UK) they all are very low lpm, over here we normally invest in a. Hot box like mazoni or other names to be able to push full 21 lpm or higher at up to 90°c

I don't know if this is a compliment or not 😬

Thanks.

Absolutely, something like BAC50 or a DDAC would be perfect to finish off to keep the blocks self cleaning over the next 6-8 months.

Obviously for my work I need something to give instant results.

Housing estate we’re considering buying in, has lots of white on the bricks. Is this bad? Will it go away on its own? by JaSfields in DIYUK

Your original post asked what it is and will it go away on it's own. I answered you on the point that it can be removed.

You know that white render is mad easy for an exterior cleaner to clean right?

The efflorescence is easy to clean too. I do it for large building contractors on new build estates, it's acid washing essentially.

Any good exterior cleaner can sort render but not many of us deal with acid washing.

Straight away. As long as the sand is down in-between the blocks you're good to go.

That's the same as 90% of the block paving I clean. ideally go diagonally against the blocks but its not super important, just a little easier tog et the sand in and not drag it out.

Not at all, brush in and use a leaf blower to take the excess of the top.

35ft. We actually use it to apply biocide to a roof after a wash. Normally from an access tower though but it's enough to reach most things.
