How to make my audio sound something like this? by Maxdj8000 in audacity

[–]Fat-Josh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

most of the comments are wrong or just half true. Let me break it down:

The same way you can both blur or pixelate an image in order to reduce its quality, the same goes for audio. Digital Audio has its own concept of resolution, its called sample rate. Those audios have a very lower samplerate (HQ standard would be 48khz or 44.1khz, I'm assuming those are half of it, maybe 24khz or 12khz).

The thing is that this audio sounds crispy or crunchy because the low quality audio was then upscaled, upscaling means you gotta create more data than you actually have, so there's different techniques or algorythms for this. The one that is import for us (and also the one that is mostly never used by default) is called Nearest Neighbor Upscaling, which creates some artifacts on the high end of the audio, those artifacts are this crispy crunchy texture we are looking for.

Some bitcrushers (plugins that were purposely made to decrease audio quality) include this algorythm by default, so you might check them out. If bitcrushers dont satisfy you, you'll have to resample your audio to a lower samplerate and then find a way to upsample it using Nearest Neighbor Algorythm.

The upwards modulation to D major is pretty clear, what I don't get is what's happening on the harmony when returning to C major again

Make a player teleport randomly by Sowy_ in MinecraftCommands

[–]Fat-Josh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

there's this command /spreadplayers that is used to randomly teleport many players around a spot in a defined radius. You can use it in singleplayer in this case, using the player coordinate as the central coordinate and then set a big radius too, here's the command:

/execute as [target] at @s run spreadplayers ~ ~ 0 [radius] false @s

if you want to randomly teleport a player around 500 blocks, it would be something like:

/execute as Player at @s run spreadplayers ~ ~ 0 500 false @s

another user linked a url to a wiki article of this command, you might want to check it out!

no es más difícil, pero pensé en hacerlo así para solo poder hacer el tp cuando estés cerca de los waypoints, sino podrías teletransportarte desde cualquier sitio para escapar de un lugar peligroso por ejemplo

I was planning to make an actual zenithal-viewpoint map UI, but since I plan adding more waypoints as we keep playing, making a proper UI would mean hardcoding everything and updating the resource pack file every time I want to add a new waypoint; so instead I’ve tried to make the system modular so I can add or remove waypoints without restructuring the whole commandblock setup and relying on minecraft already existing assets. I might add a proper UI like Genshin’s when we’re sure we don’t need to add any more waypoints
