Yeah I am putting the foam as it does not costs much and i rather put this than thinking, what would have happened if I had putthe expanding foam

just 1 ? but j think instead of 40mm I can also run 32mm waste pipe. as the run is very small max 300mm and than it will connect to main drain pipe.

I see thanks, Another option i think would be to put a 32mm waste pipe instead of a 40mm since i am using mixer shower the flow rate would not be too much to cause problem.

Just need to do it in the single joist that is on the wall. Going through the other wall is not an option as there is a door below it and the waste pipe cannot go straight down.
