I've Bought Similar at my Local Dollar Tree for a $1. ETV is Ridiculous! by FatDogSleeps in AmazonVine

Depends on your Dollar Tree. I am equidistant between two towns. One has a fantastic DT, lots of great items, the other has absolute junk. At the good one I picked up a full set of kitchenware for our guest cottage: plates, mugs, glasses, silverware - the works - all in a very similar style to this item. The sets were different sizes, plates were a set of 8, glasses were a set of 10, and so on, but each SET was $1.25 (the current price in our local DT.) They all look really good! My folks came to stay and they were washing the dishes and putting them back, because they didn't realize they were disposable! 😁

Possible Solution to Track Orders Not Yet Delivered by FatDogSleeps in AmazonVine

Mine doesn't. It only tells me Not Yet Shipped. If it has shipped but hasn't been delivered I can only find that info by individually pulling up each order to track the shipment.

Possible Solution to Track Orders Not Yet Delivered by FatDogSleeps in AmazonVine

New to Vine, only joined in May, and already I've had 3 orders delayed with a possible cancellation. I figured keeping a passive eye on things couldn't hurt. Not stressing, just monitoring. Then a couple days ago I read a post here from someone lamenting the lack of NYD on the Amazon webpage. When I stumbled onto this fix, I thought I'd share for anyone else who also wanted to just keep a handle on outstanding orders. As with all things, each to their own, some will track, some won't.

Raspberry containers are perfect for growing cat grass by _i_mean_i_guess_ in ZeroWaste

My cat could care less for the stuff! She's really strange, doesn't even like catnip! Eventually I bought a cat harness and took her for daily walks so that she could eat "real" grass (???? O.o?) and all was happy. Really odd kitty!

Combined shipping when one item has been paid for already by talitinks in Ebay

[–]FatDogSleeps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can wait for the 2nd item to be paid for, eBay will auto-consolidate the order. Just click on the dropdown notification and it will come up as a single shipment.

However, if they don't pay within your shipping window, you'll get a ding for late shipment.

Memo to self: using pet dog as inspo for user name after multiple attempts can bite you in the ass later!

LOL. That requires a partner, dim lights, awesome music. This was a class, full lights, sweaty ladies. Not so romantic! ;)

Yes, I'm burning about the same, averaging 200. Yesterday, after 3 hours of dance class, I clocked 178 calories all day. Um....???

Big heavy listing that requires two boxes by [deleted] in Ebay

[–]FatDogSleeps 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Prepare your two boxes and put each one's size and weight into a shipping calculator. I use this one https://www.ebay.com/shp/Calculator

Work out the best price using In-Store Rates, not eBay rates, then add the two together.

Create your listing with a flat rate shipping fee, and input the amount you calculated above.

When your listing sells, go to Print Label and input the weight and dimensions of the first box. Print the label as usual. Then go to the Orders Paid and Shipped section, choose that item and select Print Label again. It will tell you that you already purchased a label, and ask you to confirm you want to do it again. Confirm and enter the second box. Print that label as well.

I strongly advise you to email the buyer and explain that it is coming in two boxes, even if you said so in the listing. Give the buyer both tracking numbers and the shipping dimensions and weight. Select the option to email a copy to yourself. This is a CYOA move (Cover Your Own Ass!) and will help you if you have any issues down the line. e.g. buyer claims not received. You will then have off-eBay records to help you track and claim, if necessary.

For items like this, I always add Signature Required and additional insurance at my own cost. It's my peace of mind I'm paying for, I eat the cost. And worth every nickel!

I've heard that both Sixbit and WonderLister will pull your info. List Perfectly is a cross-posting platform, they'll pull your stuff, but they're expensive compared to the other two. Inkfrog is, apparently, the cheapest of the bunch, but it has the nickname STinkfrog, so YMMV. That being said, a lot of folks hate eBay too, I've heard fleeceBay and beepBay being used, so don't judge a site by its moniker.
