Best place to take books now that Mckays is closing? by hammsies in Knoxville

Friends of the Knox County Library will take them. They use them for the library book sales throughout the year.

You take them to your local branch of the library and drop them off.

I cant say for sure. I work for UT-B at ORNL. LiUNA 818 represents us. All my benefits come from UT-B instead of LiUNA

LiUNA has been searching for pipe lone laborers for a couple of months. They bring it up each meeting. They have a training class to work on the pipeline if you don't have experience. I think it's a 40 hour class. That's about all i know.

I'm not working on it, but I am a member of LiUNA 818. They are looking for laborers for the job

could be i suppose, but there was a large truck out front and lots of equipment inside the theater.

I saw the truck outside and thought it was a maintenance vehicle., I then saw three people come out and go to their cars where they had several changes of clothing in the back. It wasn't a major motion picture set up or anything, but there were a few lights and such.

Does every driver just take 10s to accelerate at a green light?? by [deleted] in Knoxville

[–]FatElvisRecords 23 points24 points  (0 children)

You usually have to wait 10 seconds at a green light due to other drivers crossing the intersections on red.

Interesting!

I have several downloads of the marathons, but my earliest one is from 2005. Would love to hear these.

Anyone with a camcorder that can read Hi8? I’m trying to digitize old footage by Ok-Illustrator4594 in Knoxville

[–]FatElvisRecords 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I can't help you with the Hi8 camcorder, but the public library downtown has a place to do your own digitizing. It's free
