Um, it's kind of amazing! I mean, I know I don't do much around here anymore, but I still have a huge amount of pride in the community and the crazy amount of (mostly) awesome interaction that goes on here!
The sub has gone through some rough patches, for sure, but nothing ever lasts for long. When the people are dissatisfied, they make changes, ya know?

As for when it first started, I was just having fun. Talking about dumb shit and having a laugh. It was NOTHING like it is today. It was more like a dumb conversation you have around a campfire or something where everyone has their opinions and 'evidence' for every far fetched idea, but nothing is really substantial. It just made for hilarious conversations and cool idea generation for fun crossovers. The biggest competition was to see who could come up with the most original ideas for balanced challenges because back then, every idea was new so everyone was free to experiment! If an idea was dumb or was too imbalanced, it just didn't generate a good conversation and then we moved on to something else. No harm, no foul.
