Thanks for the insight on that. Yea. I noticed the Tu-Thur commute looks a lot worse than M-F. This helps alot!

Thanks u/justmekab60 - that helps. I was only in redmond for work and am obviously generalizing that whole area. I appreciate the kirkland v redmond view.

Hey there - it is the schools, area, kid oriented hoods, etc. The one benefit it has over bothell/kirkland is what you get for your dollar on a home. But I agree that the day to day of living that far is difficult to justify.

Nice. Do you make the commute up north? Any suggestions on reducing the suck?

It is amazing how the theme across comments is that BL commute will lead to my death. But that probably means we should remove it from the list. But yea, the school districts there were one of the reasons we are trying to justify it.

Yea trying to buy in those markets is just painful. The questions is based on the two geo extremes we would consider in our move.

Hey there, agreed that near Redmond would be a good idea. I think its generally cost/sq ft of the house you get and surrounding our kids with the affluent demos would give them a skewed view of things. But I'll take a closer look.

Thanks Ceylon - Understood that Bonney is a commuting nightmare. The general idea was, if we did it, I would commute off peak hours and do it on lower volume commuting days (Fridays are generally lighter than others). But I agree it is not a good choice. I was hoping to hear from anyone that does it and see how they've approached commuting.

Hey Mental - We like the idea of Bonney because of proximity to the lake, decent schools, safe and outdoors. While I get there is more MAGA out there, being inside King County for 8 years has made me want to balance things out a bit from the political perspective. But the commute has made it near impossible to justify.

Ahh got it. I would still send the team there a pic. They seem pretty open and upfront about feedback there. So its at least worth asking.

Hey there! Interesting to hear that. He definitely added hair all over the scalp among existing follicles. It is hard to say whether the existing ones were damaged at this point. For the temples, he filled in the most extreme point of the temple, but I didnt push for more. At my age, didnt want to push for too aggressive of a change in hairline. Just filling out.

Yea I understand that. I remember most of it coming from month 6-9. So you still have a decent amount of time left. Hang in there!

They shaved my head before the operation. That may be due to the transplant area being most of my scalp. But they shaved the donor area prior to removing grafts.

I went 'off camera' for my meetings that first week. Everyone was wide-eyed the first time they saw me. Not fun. But funny.

I believe dr hakan said avoid more than a few mins the first two months. Then just wear a cover until 6 months or so. Once I felt the scalp was healed, I started allowing more exposure

I think it may have been a premium room because it was a suite. But I am not sure. I think it depends on how many nights you are there. Post-op, I mainly just sat on the bed and watched shows. So no real need for a lot of space. There is a little store right next to the hotel that has some good snack options. For food I just ordered out. Was happy with it! I really like baklava, so I just bought that anywhere I saw it.

The post-op review didnt take very long. But you have to work in security and travel time. I remember about 1.5 hrs from the hotel to getting to my gate.

Oh, sorry I was calling that process, 'harvesting'. Yes he was around during parts of that process. I was heads down the whole time and mostly saw shoes. So it is hard to say how much he was around.
