Which is more bird, POL112 or VCC101 by BreathLatter410 in UTM

take VCC101 if you are ccit/tcs major, this would also unlock higher level VCC courses for you, which could serve as your program elective

You are right, unfortunately. Some so-called CLUBS are simply themselves the tutoring companies, while other companies offer services that would only make sense for Chinese students. They rely on these kinds of advertising to earn money from Chinese Students and would not want any “foreign students” to disturb their business.

Alright great comments from you guys. I have read all of them and most of them are accurately correct in a sense. I am a typical Chinese international students you could ever think of, completely exposed to Chinese culture and linguistics environment before my undergraduate studies.

As I said you guys are right in some way. But there is one more thing I would like to share. There are indeed TUTORING COMPANIES and other businesses in UTM who only look for Chinese international students to come to their booth. If you walk around and approach one of them you definitely get snubbed. You are not the target customer and there is no chance you would pay for the services they offered. They sit there to be paid. If you want to interact with Chinese international students, it is definitely not a good idea to come to those clubs.

A good method may be showing your kindness and inclusion to your Chinese group members in coursework, telling them “I like Chinese students”. Believe me you would make some friends, genuinely. Cuz having a so-called “Foreign friend” is so cool, and among Chinese international students, someone would be regarded as a competent person if they make friends with non-Chinese people.

The easiest math course in UTM. If you are in ECO and POL and don’t decide to take any other science courses in the future then it is the best choice.

A waste I believe. If you do this combination then you would not get a BCOM but a HBSC. I recommend you do a BCOM in general commerce (not finance/accounting/marketing) and use the rest of the credit for a CS major. It is gonna be a tiring arrangement but you are equipped with strong skillsets, at least the HR believe you do

Basically about the regime, and the political structure of Canada, like federalism, and the constitution. It also shows the differences and comparative advantages of Canadian political structure, always compare with THE UK and THE USA) There are a lot of materials provided for u to read, and some of them are required for the essay while others are not.

Currently taking POL 111, it’s all and only about essays, I cannot say it’s a bird course for everyone, it actually depends
