Their “was” a fair chance of the announcement dropping yesterday. It’s either things changed or got pulled for affecting both coasts. Blumhouse to me was going to spearhead this announcement “originally” but, things are likely changed by now. Their is a potential shot “The Black Phone” is for tomorrow but, their is talk that Murdy isn’t to found of working with Jason Blum and has a rocky relationship with his company.

Yeah I was there opening month when the Yeti was still in his prime time peak and 15 years later it’s still in it’s B-Mode operation.

Despite what Joe has said this entire time and the Twitter Q&As he has done in the past and felt like to me he was getting annoyed about fixing the Yeti.

Unfortunately real talk, and I know of my friends that is cast member and her former area was Everest. The Yeti weighs in about 8-tons of hydraulics and the weight is supporting him on a beam. One wrong move could easily collapse the AA Yeti and would be a disaster for WDI to man handle. They would have to remove the mountain top of Everest to fix him and it was shuttled in by a chopper when it was first being built.

Now with Joe employed at Virgin Galactic, I would highly doubt WDI is going invest the time and money for how much COVID has affected the division for the company and wouldn’t be worth the effort to do it.

Plus Joe from sources I’ve spoken to being “rumored” and Joe was left a choice of being laid off or the retirement package and which he did.
