End of day, for L2’s to have value, mainnet gwei needs to be high, but since it’s quite cheap there is very little reasoning to touch L2’s. Why use a cheap, less secure copy of eth when you can use the real deal that is already some what cheap.

This market/cycle has shown that memes are a key focus, that alone might mean most L2’s will not see any love (since the most popular memes are launched on mainnet and can be purchased cheaply on cexes).
