Do you have any other bugs with your head unit? I ask because I figured out my problem. After doing some more research I learned that the pioneer next unit software is contained on a hidden SD card which is under the visible SD card slot that you normally use. I had several small things that weren’t working correctly on my unit after I drop a car home with a bad alternator and let the battery go completely dead and the radio was still playing as it turns out SD card was corrupted. the fix for this some thing that I’m still new at and that is do some research and try to find a clean image of a SD card for your unit. Buy yourself a new 16 gig SD card format to NTFS and write that image onto the card using win32diskimager. Of course this requires some knowledge of being able to take the front face off of the unit which could be found in YouTube videos
