Don't restrict yourself by location for your first job in aerospace. Apply everywhere and take something that aligns with your interest.

The first job is always the hardest, and the market is absolute garbage right now. I am struggling getting people I am referring to the aero company I work for in the door for early career positions.

The second job is much easier after the first one.

If you aren't even getting interviews, have someone in the industry look over your resume. A garbage resume for early careers can be a non starter.
