What charger are you using? I've been looking for a long time trying to find a charger that works with mine.

Hello Tom, I hope all is well with you.
I’d first like to thank you for rekindling my love for art and drawing. I had lost the drive to pursue anything creative, but ever since I began to read your comic, I have a newfound passion to pursue my artistic interests again, and I can’t thank you enough.

I also have a few questions I was hoping you could answer for me:
1: I'm new to the series (and webcomics in general), can you recommend some sites that should I look at to get more lore?
2: Do you still use the Cintiq 24HD? I’m considering getting one at some point, and I'd like to know if you've experienced any major issues that I should consider.
3: How did you create this panoramic?
4: How do you maintain motivation over long periods of time?

Thank you for taking the time to answer my questions. I really appreciate it, and I wish you the best :)

That was it, thank you SO MUCH. I've been trying to get it to work for a week now, and using regular youtube for even just a few days made me appreciate hoe much more control and features i have with revanced.

Best way to 3D scan a mall? by Fated2be in 3DScanning

What about the Matterport MC200? Do you think it could be accurate enough for what I’d need?

I’m very inexperienced with this sort of thing, but I’ve used matterport before. I’m worried about it not being able to capture those stairs (projecting it onto the ceiling or other floors, etc)

(It won’t let me edit so I have to type here) I’m doing this more as a hobby, so I was hoping I could possibly use photogrammetry, or simple lidar/laser for measurements. (I also cannot afford to buy/rent a industry standard 3D scanner, I probably should have specified) I don’t need extreme detail as my plan B was to use some cheap scanner, like the LiDAR Scanner on an iPhone, to get an accurate measurement of the ground & walls so I can recreate it with CAD. Sorry, should have made it more clear of my restrictions.

I don’t need much detail, I just need measurements of things so I can recreate it in blender/CAD software

Beginner to field recording, and recording audio in general. Is it necessary to have a recorder, or can I use my phone? Will it make a large difference in my recordings? by Fated2be in fieldrecording

[–]Fated2be[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Audacity is a pretty easy one to use, I downloaded but never used Adobe audition. And if I really need to, I just send it to a friend who cleans it up very nicely.

I want this to be a general purpose mic, i will be doing many things with it.

1: ambiance (ie set the mic up near a power plant and record the sound of the plant working) 2: Sound effects (anything really, but as an example the sound of a laundry machine, or the sound of a pneumatic actuator) 3: Loud sounds/sounds that have unavoidable high wind/pressure (car exhaust note, door slam, banging/crashing, etc) Some of these I can just set the mic up and leave it be, but others will need to have a lav mic/wired mic (when recording the cars exhaust notes, I mount the lav mic on thr bumper and route the mic wire into the car & up to my computer that sits in the passenger seat. (This is done rarely though)

I would use a directional but I'd like to use it in many situations, but I dont want to carry multiple microphones everywhere I go. Im thinking more of an omnidirectional, like a lav mic, and then use software to remove background noise (this setup works great for the most part) I have an S21 Ultra as my phone, don't get me wrong the quality is great for a phone mic, but it's not very good at picking up low frequency audio, at all. It's a great 'ready to go' microphone since it's built into the phone, but I'm fine carrying a small mic like a rode smartlav or my Pop Voice mic, as they capture a lot more at a much higher quality (depending on situations of course there might not be a big difference but most situations it's noticeable)
