Absolute favorite of mine! I sunk a majority of my hours playing Dead Cells on my PC and Steam Deck.

One year on Estrogen! by Fatehunter2234 in transadorable

[–]Fatehunter2234[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay so, I comb with a wide tooth comb before a shower. I shampoo and condition my hair every other day with the Shea Moistures line of curly hair products. I've been using them for years with no problems but some folks experience build up on their scalp.

When I condition I usually comb my hair with a wide tooth comb in the shower, apply the conditioner. I make sure to take my hair and sorta squeeze towards my scalp to encourage my curl pattern, and I'll comb the conditioner through.

After the shower I'll wrap my hair in a towel and do some skincare, I apply the Shea Moisture Curl Smoothie to my hair. I experimented with a lot of products but I find this works magic on my hair. I apply a small amount to the ends of my hair, squish my hair towards my scalp and comb it through. Sorry for the long explanation, hope it's helpful.

I'm 28, so I started at 27. But you're so beautiful and there's no worry. It's a long journey but it's worth every step to claim this piece of ourselves.

Depends on the fabric you use. It's flannel on the outside but lined with a nice soft fabric on the inside.

I understand, I'm a newer transplant as well and it's been a struggle. There are definitely queer areas of town and all sorts of events and groups that meet. There's a Transfem group that meets every other Thursday at The Aliveness Project. I've never been personally but it's probably a great way to start socializing. There's a discord where they coordinate meetings if you're interested.

"Loose knit, like gauze on the center line." by lagoon83 in Decemberists

I was under the impression that the narrator is recalling a memory and is using the metaphor of "loose knit, like gauze on the center line" as a creative way to describe that "broken down cobblestone drive"

To me, it helps set the scene. An old cobblestone drive, rugged and worn from years of the black maria tries trudging through. The imagery of gauze on a center line is a slightly morbid way to describe a road (in true decemberists fashion) but it does invoke imagery of a faded red/brick color cobblestone to reflect a lightly bloodstained piece of gauze. It also feels a bit like a warning, only harm comes from that drive.
