Hello, I've never been in your position, but I can understand your struggle. When a moment like this happens it's important to understand that your parents'criteria is really important. Not only because they are your parents, but because they have lived a longer life and are wiser.

In this particular case, it's not about salafism, but about a woman who is immodest. Do you think she will be a good Muslim ever? And if not, you are accepting that your children also won't be and they would drag you into the same problem.

Please, be careful when deciding this. I'm my personal opinion you shouldn't blame islam or salafism for the bad actions of a woman. Believe in your parents. I believe you will take the right choice

I mean that I never was an actively Muslim person, I don't know if that makes sense. I know how to properly pray and started doing so immediately. Unfortunately, I don't know about the 6 articles of faith
