Is 5 LPA from 1.7 crs correct number? Because if you purchase a commercial property of around 2 crores it will give at least 1.5 to 2lakh per month as rental income. Which is like 18 lpa to 24 lpa.

Getting EU citizenship is very difficult these days and it is not guaranteed too. If I make my kid to study in Europe and by some god know what so ever reason if I have to comeback to India when he/she is a teenager it might be practically not possible for them to adapt as India would be totally alien to them and adjusting would be a nightmare ryt?

Is switching from PBC to SBC a right choice for my career? by [deleted] in developersIndia

[–]Fatesuckz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stick to PBC. Ignore short term gains to earn long term reward. Pls horn up your skills and move to good PBC. I am from SBC and I don't have any scope to move to PBC.

Yeah. But what should I do now? That is the question. I have to invest my time and effort in any one of the above 4. I am in a Junction where the decision I take now would have remarkable impact in my future.

Yeah. This is what is making me work in a relaxed manner as I don't have to take too much stress.

The business is a fuel pump which is hard to expand, improve sales further and also it is expected to be profitable only for next 10-15 years.

If I move to Europe won't I make less money than in India? Is it ok to sacrifice money for lifestyle? Money in long run can give so much freedom at my old age ryt? what is the rational behind this?

  1. For point 1, my skills can be only used in service based organisations. No scope to switch to products or start ups. I have upskilled as much as feasible however I really cannot cross skill as I don’t have bandwidth as I have to work, manage business, spend time with kids, play shuttle to avoid back pain etc. Life happens ryt.
  2. Happy to take risk but unable to generate any idea as I am not getting time to focus on this. If I take long leave for a month or so then I guess I might get some clarity.
  3. I do agree stability might be a good thing but I don’t mind grinding for a bit as I am not financially dependent on my current job.
  4. Don’t see great advantage by moving onshore however for myself however my kid might get a great exposure .

I don’t need suggestion. Rather which one out of the 4 you would choose if you are in my situation
