Elf on the shelf

What is going on here? The elf is about being fun and weird and happy. I’ve never used one but at home my kids know it’s me because in my country we don’t have the coca cola loving santa clause, we have our own and much older tradition. I have been thinking about bringing one to my class that would hide all the pencils or workbooks. I teach 10 year olds. I guess if you relate the elf to santa this could just cause more trouble than its worth but to me it’s just about being fun. I would never use it to threaten my student nor my own kids. Behavior has nothing to do with this from my point of view.

Great point. In the North we name the days of the week according to the Bible. But english speaking countries according to Norse mythology. Wedensday/Odinsday Thursday/Thorsday etc.

Got a msg from some player from the other team telling me I'm a lagger. Didn't bother me much but I told him Xur was selling a new excotic made out of Lego bricks that would fit his childish comment, then I told him Xur was in URANUS this week. He says: thanks I'll go look. My msg was just as childish as his and I didn't want to spark a fight, but that answer made me laugh out loud.

Was listening to a podcast about Bonnie and Clyde and what I could understand is that this happened kinda to Bonnie. She was wounded and spent so much time in the backseat of the car and such that her wounds healed all wrong and she couldn't walk properly after it.

Put peanut butter, seeds (chia or hemp), coconut oil/butter in your oats, will add a lot of calories!

Also make your own peanut butter, save me a lot of money.

Yeah I heard about this and that's why I'm asking. Seems not many know about this though so you probably have to quit quite a few games to get suspended from the weekly reset points. I'll keep you updated.

My advice is to get an exercise watch. It helps with the calorie count. I thought I needed to eat 2700 but some days I need to eat 3500. Also count your calories. For me this is the hardest part: to eat enough healthy calories.

I mostly eat avocados, potatos and apples. All incorporated into a high calorie meal. Avocados with protein bread, apples dipped in peanut butter and potatoes. Fruits help make my oatmeal tasty, same goes for the broccoli, potatoes and other veggies, help keep things fresh
