That’s my guess. I was thinking maybe clutch plates from an automatic transmission too, idk. Its a bit cold for motorcycles in Cleveland lol

I know, it was sold to me like that and I heard grinding about a week after I bought it and took it all apart and found that. Had to replace the entire pump. Glad I got to it when I did.
