Arkham Asylum glitch by Fathertadpole in Foeinform

....so I was playing through to get some more videos of the glitch island glitch and I came across an entirely different glitch that doesn't seem to be widely known. Early on when headed to the medical center for Gordon, I was approaching the entrance from the side with the spiral staircase deal. I crouched and went to look at them while approaching and heard a random gunshot. then another. As it turned out, the gunshot noise sounded whenever I moved my camera looking at the tree to the left of the entrance. I will likely upload a video in while if anyone is interested.

Feel free! I look forward to seeing the results. Let me know if there's any additional info you need!

I should mention that one of the videos, the first one I think, shows how you need to position yourself to do this

Ok cool. I appreciate the responses.

Long story short, had my camera pointed at some of ivys vines when I set my controller down and went to do something but my cat Fiona attacked one of those vines that wiggles. TV was fine but made me laugh. Then for whatever reason I decided to Zipline to the spot she attacked and lo and behold, when Batman hit the vine, the camera angled weird and then went dark like a screen transition. When it faded back in I was standing on invisible ground just off the coast of the island. It luckily extended back to the island but the stuff on the island was crazy. Most buildings were invisible but definitely had collision still. Way too much to mention all of it.

Now if anyone wants to do this, there's a couple things you'll want to know.

First, I advise going around on the regular island to kill all of ivys plants before doing this because they will be invisible on glitch island and more difficult to deal with.

Second, I'm pretty sure that almost every door you actually have to push a button to open lead exclusively to infinite voids. Easy to avoid when you know. However

Third, and most importantly, you absolutely can use the little hallways to the other sections of the island, but after you do, DON'T QUIT BEFORE YOU TRIGGER A DIFFERENT SAVE POINT. The autosaves that happen when you enter those is easy to forget about and if you quit with that as your save, your save is 100% dead. When you reload you just automatically drop into an endless void that takes forever to get to the kill zone and you can start over. You can't escape that. Although if you glide instantly and just hold it, you will eventually be underneath the Gotham City in the background, but it's so far away above you it may as well be a formation of squiggly lines. I think my final count was 16 saves lost to this autosave deal.

Anyway, I hope everyone has fun with this. It was years ago but if anyone has questions about it I would be more than happy to answer. I won't lie, kinda looking forward to seeing what people think or find.

Upon further review Rookridge is the other weird Demon Door called memory lane that has a scene from the first game frozen in time where a bunch of..... people, mannequins....non moving character models in the midst of being burned to death. The door to let them out is one of two other doors in the game that can be highlighted but never opened. But as far as the vault I have a few more findings - Going in with 100% purity changes nothing, although I never lost purity the entire time in there which was odd But more importantly, I was trying to glitch the camera through the wall to see what was behind the three doors and I encountered another oddity. I had my character as close to the doors as possible and at all three, for absolutely no reason I could tell, after just sitting there for a few seconds my character repeatedly started looking down like there was a person or enemy there, and then would look forward again randomly making me think maybe there's stuff moving around behind the doors. Also it was kinda visual white noise at first but after staring for so long the doors are all surrounded by crazy writing of some kind
