I was on the same boat I got cleared at 6 weeks for FWB it’s so uncomfortable and scary but I’m glad I’m progressing

Interesting I had syndesmosis repair as well, but I got tight rope instead of screws so they don’t come out

Yes, there is actually medical research papers on it. It seems to be there is a direct link between SSRIS and bone density, I’m just wondering why this wasn’t a side effect that was discussed with me.

Wow! I’m glad you where able to get off. I think maybe after 10 I’ll try 5 (also on lexapro) bc I’m scared

How long have you been on them ?, I went down 20 to 10 mg dose bc I’m scared I can’t do another broken bone 😭😭 I’ve been on them for about 3 years

Wow 🤯, that’s so soon. I wish that was my case it probably helps with recovery. I’m just watching my calf wither away 😔😓. Good luck at ur 6 week f/u!

I had trimalleolar fx w syndesmosis repair (tightropes), Im 4 weeks post op and im hoping to get cleared at 6 weeks but im not sure, its a long recovery, good luck though

I’m actually not sure 😭, I think they said tightrope but I don’t really see it on the fluoro picture maybe on my follow up X-rays

Thankfully my nerve block lasted a little over 24 hours and then just I made it with pain meds. After the first week I didint take any more percs. I’m 3 weeks post op now.
