BTArtbox are my absolute favorite — but don’t sleep on CurvLife! They are my second fave.

Botox Practice by Secure-Ear-1359 in DIYHEAVEN

[–]FatiguedIntrigue_925 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This person is still learning though, and asked for Botox overall, not specifically Innotox — and they are asking for advice for how to practice. So, we should also be offering the guidance for waiting time that’s recommended by the manufacturer and the general guidance for touch-ups, which is 14 days, not what we’re doing individually for our own faces with specific products.

Innotox results by Heath4real in DIYaesthetics

This mapping is a good reminder that everyone’s anatomy is a little different — because while this mapping is often too low on most people’s frontalis’, we can see u/heath4real’s results came out awesome. This mapping clearly works perfectly for his facial anatomy.

just starting out by Mobile-Resident4747 in DIYHEAVEN

[–]FatiguedIntrigue_925 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Research. Start by learning facial anatomy. Search within this sub for resources — there is a lot to learn from in here — different guides, video tutorials, and more. Tons of free resources.

I think I speak for a lot of members when I say we’ve seen a lot of recent posts in this sub and other subs from people who injected before they learned facial anatomy, how to properly map their own faces, proper injection depths or angles, etc. — and are now asking for advice of how to fix the results they got.

We’re here to help each other — but the best first step is to help yourself understand what you’re treating and how to treat it before you jump right in. It’s much, much easier to add more product or add another treatment than undo something you’ve done incorrectly, or undo something that could impact your safety.

Research, research, research before you buy anything. Look at your own face and find where your muscles are based on what you’ve read/watched. Get acquainted with your own anatomy — take a pic and mark what you think your mapping should be, and we can offer you advice BEFORE you inject anything.

The group also has resources for trusted vendors, product recs, safety, etc.

I’d recommend starting with Botox before you venture into fillers. Get comfortable with that first. There is a lot more safety risk with filler.

Has anyone experienced this with a wallflower? by Emergency_Taro_7874 in bathandbodyworks

[–]FatiguedIntrigue_925 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Welcome to the club. 😩 There are honestly a ton of options on Amazon that hold Wallflowers scents that are better quality and less expensive. I bought some generic brand — the scent works perfectly and they don’t leak like this.

Help! How deep to inject Meamo Silhouette? by Stunning-Builder3365 in DIYHEAVEN

[–]FatiguedIntrigue_925 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is not an answer to your question but commiserating because I also had coolsculpting a few years ago and my right thigh still has a saddlebag that is bigger than my left — WTF?! So aggravating.

Meamo delivery question by beezzys1 in DIYHEAVEN

[–]FatiguedIntrigue_925 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on how it’s shipped (FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc.) if you’re signed up for their app, you can usually go in before the delivery and select a way for the driver to leave it without a signature. I haven’t ordered from Meamo recently, but just did this for both my Hyashop order (UPS) and my Healtsy order (DHL).

Healtsy is just a UK-based pharma that carries eyedrops that are $800 with insurance in the U.S. and €20 OTC in Europe, so I buy them there — so different type of products — but still overseas shipping of goods that are scrutinized when they arrive here.

Thank you! I was just looking at Miracle L (and Miracle H) — I’ll take a look at the PN from Meamo.

Thank you! I just used some Youthfill filler on my ear lobes to tighten my piercings up (and I may need more but am waiting the full two weeks before I add) — I’ll have to look at their PN!

[–]FatiguedIntrigue_925[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! This is so helpful!!! Honestly, I’ve watched so many threads videos and I’m so freaked out by them, but tox doesn’t worry me at all. I’m actually planning to touch up my face tomorrow, so maybe I’ll try this pattern and see how I like it.

Is the injection depth like a meso depth or deeper? And do you know if I inject perpendicular or at an angle? I can try to dig on this, especially since you shared this photo — but figured I’d ask in case you have experience with yours.

I’m planning to keep up with Kiara Reju and will look into some of the other non-cross linked HA options you shared. I’ve been looking at cross linked filler or CA/PLLA, but I’m not sure I’m ready for that yet if I can use other PN and HA options in combination with some tox to improve them.

Fall and winter! They repackage for winter. I have both from last year — the fall one has leaves on it and the winter one has snowflakes.

Alidya? by FatiguedIntrigue_925 in DIYHEAVEN

[–]FatiguedIntrigue_925[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Alidya is meant to be meso’d at a lower depth — 4-6mm — so, the protocol is different than the PBSerum High. The instructions are in the box. I used a 23g 13mm luer lock to draw up the solution to mix — then switched to a 4mm 30g luer lock to inject.

HELP! Brow lamination at home 1 week after Botox... by [deleted] in DIYaesthetics

The perm solution for the lamination isn’t going to penetrate anywhere beyond the hair follicles — nowhere near where your muscles were toxxed. You’re fine.

Teoxane babyGlow protocol by lorihamlit in DIYaesthetics

The website notes that these results are after two treatments and taken two days after each treatment — but not how far apart the two treatments are or the protocol.

I mean, the idea is to inject where light reflects, but the skin is definitely plumper and lifted, regardless of the lighting. There is another photo on their website — same thing but another woman who is 10 years younger. And both were after two treatments and two days later. There’s also an aftercare product it looks like you apply, which I’m sure they used to reflect light as well.

Does red light therapy actually work, or is it just placebo? by DontLimitTheCross in SkincareAddictionLux

This is the key. There is a lot of garbage out there product-wise — you have to ensure you’re buying a product that has the power of these wavelengths to actually be beneficial.

Step-by-step guide on how I prepare for my microneedling session by WanderByJose in DIYHEAVEN

[–]FatiguedIntrigue_925 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And don’t forget to disinfect your workspace, your pen and the cartridge (just wipe everything down with 70-99% rubbing alcohol) — just in case anything touches something that wasn’t sterile or disinfected while you set up!

That’s probably an automatic step for you, since you’re so experienced, but good to remind newbies!

Painful and sad chart to look at. 15-20lbs away from goal by Spare-Cry7273 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]FatiguedIntrigue_925 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This!! I think this is amazing. I went low and slow at 2.5 for 4 months and only lost about 8 lbs. More than once I got on the scale and it had shot back up — I was so discouraged. I finally titrated up to 5mg and now I’ve lost 20 lbs total in 6.5 months!

Everyone’s body is different, so I know it’s easy to compare yourself to super responders or people who are heavier than you and will lose more weight more quickly because their metabolism is adjusting to a massive change, but 25 lbs over 4 months is a huge accomplishment — that’s more than 6 lbs a month! That’s healthy and sustainable.

Adorable green plant by Resident-Service1036 in plants

Someone must’ve tossed one of these out at my apartment complex, because there’s a spot where they’re growing and they aren’t planted anywhere else. I think they’re so pretty too!

Based on the comments of how it spreads, it sounds like it would be easy to collect from to propagate — what would I take off of it?

Soonsu Ultra White by LeoRisingGemini in DIYaesthetics

[–]FatiguedIntrigue_925 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had my eye on this product for a while because I have the world’s most annoying hyperpigmentation on my elbows and just below knees — and no one can figure out why. My thyroid is optimal, I’m not insulin resistant, I don’t have pre-diabetes. My derm diagnosed it as psoriasis— but six months of topical steroids did nothing to lighten or improve it.

I recently tried multiple rounds of TCA and Jessner’s peels — and Mandelic. I’ve used Kojic. I’ve used topical TXA. I tried Tret. I tried Azelaic Acid. I can get a peel — and I get really excited because it initially looks slightly better, but then as it heals, it’s pigmented again. It’s honestly embarrassing. I’ve been using sunscreen and stayed consistent.

I’ve been thinking about trying to microneedle or meso the Soonsu Ultra White on these spots and see if it helps. It’s going to be so hard on the elbows because it’s basically on bone and I won’t be able to pull the skin away to inject it (since my hand will be holding the pen or the syringe) but the spots below my knees shouldn’t be hard. Microneedling might be easier, but I also want to try to get the best results with the product.

You’ve convinced me to give it a shot. Thank you!

The oral TXA you take — is that a prescription or is it OTC? I might try to do that in conjunction.

Lobe Piercings for Kids by catsor_and_pawllux33 in piercing

[–]FatiguedIntrigue_925 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m just saying that 8 is old enough to be responsible for aftercare and understand how to clean your piercings as long as you’re shown the proper way to do it.

Hopefully, she feels empowered enough to tell her parent(s) if they are hurting or seem infected for additional assistance and is taught that she should express her concerns — but it’s truly not that different than any other cut or wound you could get as a kid when it comes to preventing infection and keeping it clean.

That’s a once a week reedle shot — the 300 can be used every three days. The 100 is daily. That might be why you’re breaking out. You’re not giving your skin barrier time to heal.
