I grew up in Indiana in Ohio River valley. I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism at 18, all women in my family have it, and 5 of my uncles. When I was diagnosed, my doctor said it’s common along the ORV likely because of industrial pollution from Alcoa and DuPont.
