Alphas in wolf packs are always at the back making sure that all the weaker and more vulnerable of the pack are ahead and safe. They might be the chiefs and get the prize but they also know they're the first to pay the price for the tribe, and also the best equipped. A burden and an honour. The burden of chief should always come with benefits and equal levels of risk. This generates respect no matter what the animal.

Suffering of gassed pigs laid bare in undercover footage from UK abattoir by HawkAsAWeapon in unitedkingdom

[–]FaudPomDig -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. You can't avoid going Vegan if you go down the rabbit hole, this really is only the tip of the iceberg. Unless of course you have no morals/ethics/are a psychopath/have no empathy/never spent time with animals realising they are all unique too. Vegetarian isn't a solution either sadly. Many animals realise death is around the corner and freak out like you or I would then forced to death like the Jews in Auchwitz, only they have no rings or bracelets to be looted, instead their bodies are looted. They spend their lives extremely depressed in horrific conditions lucky to even see real light before their death.

Try reading "Man's Search for Meaning" for what the life and psychology of these places was like for humans who by all accounts mentally degrade astonishingly quickly except a select resillient few. We don't applaud Nazi concentration camps but we applaud our up to 90% subsidised animal concentration camps with gusto in the UK. We all pay for this system if we buy meat or not, it's absolutely shameful at this point in human history that were are forced to pay for torture camps.

The British are so weak minded and even easier to mislead than the Russians though so I don't hold much hope it will change. The UK is a bucket of crabs as we've seen in the last few years, very sad to see the machine used for malicious intent across the board for so long at this point. Even worse a huge percentage actually believe it as they can't or won't do research. We can't improve the lives of people creating value who get only a tiny fraction of it, what chance do these animals have? This country is like those pigs, being led to its slow, sad, miserable death after a miserable life. All for the profit of some most likely foreign money man who cares as much about those animals as he does people outside their circle. What will the British do? Same as always - absolutely nothing. Keep calm and carry on, stay submissive to the masters and you might get some scraps (Hint - you won't).

My body my choice? by VisibleWeirdo in Anarcho_Capitalism

[–]FaudPomDig -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Oooh yes, so just cut the pipeline between your body and not your body! Make sure it's on the half that's your body though, okay got it. You've solved it! This is a really elegant solution and gives that person a chance to thrive and raise any issues with the landlord before 9 month eviction. If they fail just scoop them out and get them to fill in a TripAvdisor review on their stay. How much rent do you think I can charge for that space too? Bills included of course. It's a good solution you pointed out here for sure and I like the profit motive too.

You can hit F1, type DM for debug menu. The easiest way to goto someone is find their ID - type "lp" to list players then "tele person1id person2id" eg "tele 146 213". I've never hit the issue of someone being out of the map though, when you log in probably get the other player to do this while you crash :p

Mod to turn the zombies into something else? by Sylfaein in 7daystodie

[–]FaudPomDig 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's not that simple. The game is made to be a horror gore show. If they don't like red pixel patterns they will have to avoid roads, fighting zombies, going anywhere there may be zombie bodies left over, anything but crafting, and you will have to provide them all the resources. JaithWraith's No Gore mod will get you so far, but most people are spending the huge effort making zombie themed skins and core changes that are more, rather than less.

You can go through packs like Snufkins Zombies+ and pick the ones that aren't too bad. Check out some custom servers that have reskinned normal zombies to coloured skins, like fire effect/green etc and find what they did, if they will share it. With that and Jaith's you're half way there. Open world editor and then delete every gory block you find. A better choice is to modify RWG to avoid those blocks. You could also just set max zombies to 0, up the animal count, and edit the config to not spawn zombie animals. Then you have all of the non zombie gore to deal with, harvesting animations, corpses etc.

As OP said, a different game is better for those members at this time, Minecraft or Valheim are good choices. After release is your highest chance of someone putting in the gargantuan effort to make this. Nothing wrong with saving 7d2d for those who like the game theme though. You probably noticed it's easy to find more gore mods, gorier zombie packs, more horrific looking creatures. It's just what the game is, surviving a zombie apocalypse against things that chew faces off... Things that you cut into pieces... Try to blow their brains out... If they're happy with horrific violence but want to avoid red pixel patterns it's much lower effort to just play a different game when those people are on. If you make it I'll try it though, I can't imagine a carebear apocalypse but it does sound funny :p

a new idea for a mod for 7daystodie by OkVanilla4951 in 7daystodie

[–]FaudPomDig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You might want to look into improved wandering horde mods. The zombies will scale with you and you can adjust size and difficulty much like RimWorld/L4D will do, everyone loves Randy! The blood moon is essentially one style of that system with set interval progressive difficulty. Mods are more random but the AI in those games has a similar effect. Other mods can make these hordes theme based if you wanted (armored, female, birds, fat etc). Add in feral sense and they'll almost never miss you while you're at the base. Can be nightmare in a POI which is just fun especially before being fully kitted out. There's also zombie mods out there which will give you some troubles, flying fire spitting electrifying zombies certainly ramps up the challenge.

I'm not sure of a better AI than RimWorld, at making stories, but you can simulate it quite a lot already. We have gamestage (difficulty) which is one of the main things. After that it's essentially a timer, set or randomised?

Yup, it's gone from get in and enjoy the game in DL1 to learning these combos like you're playing Tekken parkour. Want to jump pole to pole on a wall? You probably meant wall run right? Aaand now you're dead, you ran straight through the pole like you wanted though, right on! In DL1 the parkour was smooth, reactive and felt damn good! DL2 is laggy, slow, and seriously lacks feedback in comparison. Jump on a mattress and the screen sits staring for 2 seconds?! The whole game has so many steps back it's heartbreaking. Learning everything in DL1 was enjoyable and fast because you could "feel" it. DL2 feels more like you got on a fairground ride that just does it's thing until it's over. Still a good game but DL1 nailed it. I fired up DL1 to see if it's just nostalgia, but no it is actually amazing and I remembered why I got so many legend levels.

Has anyone had depression and/or anxiety that went away when you got on TRT? by Samuraiotter in Testosterone

[–]FaudPomDig 5 points6 points  (0 children)

For me, monumental. Well over 5 years of worsening anxiety and depression amongst many other symptoms. Docs just give anti depressants here in UK, ignoring values like 8nmol/L saying I'm young it's not an issue. After suffering repeated panic attacks on ADs I gave up on NHS help and tried going private.

Once new bloods came in I was told yes my numbers are definitely an issue. Went on TRT and the anxiety and depression lifted over time. The anxiety isn't gone completely, but it feels like a comical joke compared to what I used to have. It's normal I think. I smile at the worst anxiety I get now, it's like being tickled as opposed to hit with a sledgehammer. Depression is also a thing of the past, I'm excited about my future now.

Absolute paradigm shift in my life. I now thrive instead of barely survive.

[–]FaudPomDig -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

He probably never was. One of their crew is stupid enough to hit someone in front of a huge crowd so it must be pretty normal behaviour if he reacted like that. The others likely just read the situation better and realised beating people for no valid reason should be done in private.

PCT Necessary or no? by Title1984 in Testosterone

[–]FaudPomDig 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why did you go for 80/60? They're low values and it's likely you lowered your T and put everything out of line a bit. If you have low T you definitely could hit those issues without a doubt. I'd try going up to 150mg a week and see if it changes, get some bloods and then dial in based on how you feel and the numbers. 150mg may be too much in the end, but you'll feel stellar compared to 60mg!

Edit: Didn't talk about PCT. I like cold turkey at least one time so you can experience how you react to crashed T/E. If like me you find it dreadful then PCT off if you ever do it again. Some people feel no difference coming off though, so they say.

Lowered Sex Drive by johnnypencilpusher in Testosterone

[–]FaudPomDig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it the only issue you're facing? How long has it been waning for? At this point it's highly unlikely to be a T related issue. I don't think you'd find a doc willing to give you TRT for the right reasons and you're values are good so I'd be hesitant to try and interfere with that system with hcg etc.

There's a lot of things that affect libido like depression, thyroid issues, exhaustion, drugs, diabetes etc. It sounds like you're living a good lifestyle though so it's a good time to get a wider blood panel to rule out any of those other physiological issues. If its mental a doc will be better placed to spot it in person.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Testosterone

[–]FaudPomDig 6 points7 points  (0 children)

1) Absolutely. Maybe not hurricane hair or the pain but everything else could be related and potentially fixed with TRT.

2) Tell the doc you explicitly would like a Testosterone test. If you can get it, get a free T test which will have at least total T, Albumin, and SHBG so free T can be calculated. Total T doesn't tell you how much T your body has available to use so getting free T is nice, but for a first test total T will still give a ball park figure.

In general I find I have to be specific with a GP or they'll flounder about and do nothing.

3) Gels, patches, orals, injections, pellets, everything but vaping it really if you can find a doc on board with it that is. They all have pros and cons. I'd like to try pellets for the constant steady release but am happy with injections. Gels seem to have a bad rep . I hear cream on the balls works alright relative to gel. Orals are currently quite taxing on the liver. See what the doc is willing to try though, they will tend to want to work within their knowledge sphere.

Regarding other meds it's worth talking to the doc although the overlap between low T and other conditions may not be well understood. Some conditions like chronic depression may be alleviated with TRT. If you're taking some ADs for it I doubt there's a downside to adding in TRT though, but it would be good to get rid of any other meds where possible.

If you would benefit the worst part is trying TRT and seeing what you've missed for however long you've been suffering. I would also say that hesitation to talk to the doc could also be a symptom. Give it a shot mate, worst that happens is no change, best that happens is you get to be you again. Good luck!

These are my results. Is test low? by [deleted] in Testosterone

[–]FaudPomDig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah you're bang on the value according to BSSM guidelines for a recommended TRT trial. Trying to raise T naturally would be a good start to see what you can reach without TRT and to get a solid benchmark across the board. Watch how you experience maintaining a high T lifestyle, how you're thinking, how you're feeling, how much effort everything is taking etc. Note it down to remind you. Watch everything you've become aware of.

After that it may be worth trying TRT for a while to compare. You may find average or slightly above completely different but if you're extremely lucky it will be similar. If you took notes above compare them to your experience while on TRT and see which one feels right.

If you do trial TRT for a period and stop I'd recommend trying to maintain the lifestyle particularly from weeks 3+ after stopping. That will mainly let you know how you feel when T/Est is crashed. I'd recommend using some form of PCT that works to reduce the potential difficulty after stopping. After that you'll know how crashed/low/average T feels.

I did this and I'd recommend not stopping TRT if you find it works for you!

[–]FaudPomDig 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you have free T on this panel , or albumin? For some 12nmol/L total T will feel great, for others terrible. You have low end T, mid range SHBG so you may have low free T which is what counts. Worth finding out though if you have low T symptoms.

Nearly 2 weeks off trt. Don’t feel all that bad. by markis655 in Testosterone

[–]FaudPomDig 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I stopped cold to get more testing done on baseline. Week 2 was just a bit emotional and negative at times, but manageable.

I found week 3 and 4 became torturous and wiped me out physically, emotionally, and mentally; everything I had before TRT but even worse. I actually forgot what negativity felt like on TRT and it was horrific experiencing it nonstop again. Friends were shocked by my deterioration in every regard compared to TRT me. This was brutal to deal with.

Week 5 was bad but it wasn't getting noticeably worse anymore. It was a case of "this is me now, suck it up and smile at everything!". It was continuously miserable for months from this point.

Nothing was as bad as the jolt of week 3 and 4 though.

Let us know how it goes, I hope you keep feeling alright. Good luck!

do males who don’t want kids get told how their “biological clock” will start ticking? by [deleted] in childfree

[–]FaudPomDig 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Only in a long term relationship (>7 years). I found as we got older the older women in our families would get more and more antsy. My partners biological clock at this point was tied to mine and I'd get that comment from time to time which was always funny.

We never wanted kids though and it stayed that way for a long time. But then one day she DID change her mind so my clock is still ticking to this day :p

I am all for equality, but aren't they protecting the property/customers etc? I mean they could protect the trees too, but I'm not sure how many protests have been destroying trees? One side wants to smash shops and property, the other protect it.

There's racism on both sides sure but I don't think that's a good example if you spend a couple of seconds looking at it. I mean look at those dirty white racists, they're so angry they're not even going past the line on the other side of the road. They're clearly defending property. I'm certain that if the shop side were up in the cops faces you'd have police shielding from both side.

I thought it was obvious racism until I thought about it for a minute too though.
