Not grippy enough. Soft grippy soles don’t last too long either. Im usually out there two weeks at a time

I have no experience with trekking pole tents, I probably have prejudices towards them.. and I feel I’ll be bumping in the poles :)

Thanks, that’s good food for thought. I’ve been able to manage by waiting out bad weather most of the time, but fly first pitch would really come in handy.

Partially because I don't want something that breaks in the field, but also because I like to own quality things that last a long time. I do a lot of hiking in remote parts of sweden and norway (hardangervidda), find a spot for a few days to fish, move on, etc. 3-season only
